Role: Freelance Consultant.
Duration: Jan 2012 to Till date.
Right now interacting with business users of Agricultural development board to under-
stand the requirement for forecasting the demand for fertilizers and pesticides for the
farmers through APO(DP/GATP/SNP) tool.
As a freelance consultant responsible for initiating discussions for APO implementation
in Malaysia and giving remote support for some US clients.

Associated with a FMCG company in UK on GATP implementation.
Role involved in participating in business work shops with SAP AG and gathering the
requirements. Responsible for configuring the GATP related settings,UAT and post im-

Responsible for leading the implementation team in SD module and integration issues
with MM module, in a wireless communication product based company in San Francisco.
Involved in integration and regression testing. Involved in the offshore-onsite co-
ordination and also feasibility of implementing APO solution mainly DP.

Leading APO DP and other SAP team for developing a product with SAS integration.
Totally responsible for blueprinting and configuration of APO DP activities.

on the errors and other influencing parameters.

Involved in a short assignment with Ranbaxy(Pharmaceuticals) for fine tuning their busi-
ness process inAPO DP and SNP functionality. Micro level analysis was carried out on
different forecast models to choose best forecast parameters for improving the forecast
accuracy.
Involved in comparing pros and cons of SNP planning runs and their fitment to ease the
complexity of the DRP process. Extensively worked on Heuristics and CTM.

As one of the core team members, I was involved in the study of existing technical archi-
tecture, landscape of systems and supply chain processes of Warner Home Vedio, USA.

Initiating pre sales discussions with Hero Honda automotive company in India and
NOKIA America for supply chain management workshops to identify the pain areas in
business process and how these unmet needs are fulfilled by SAP APO.

In the DP module, my role involves recommending suitable statistical forecast model for
predicting the demand based on the consensus approach by collaborative and interactive
process with strategic, tactical and operational people. Management overrides and correc-
tions are incorporated where ever necessary. Responsibilities include suggesting configu-

Checking the Queues of the data transfer from SAP R/3 to the SCM system via CIF to

the companies products & services through APO tool in the Asia pacific rim. Role in-
volves complete Analysis and configuration of planning area and master data transfor-
mation from R/3 and BW.
Supply chain assessment using SCOR methodology.
Responsible for deciding the number of planning books and data views , creating and
assigning the CVCs and key figures to the respective planning books .Use of the right
statistical forecast model to generate optimum demand plan and redefining the same with
the use of marketing intelligence and running macros. Involved in the modeling of in-
focubes and integration and interfacing issues.
Historical sales data is transported through flat file structure to the infocubes and then
loaded into the planning area. The generated unconstrained demand plan can be useful for
the building materials companies to organise and plan efficiently their supply chain activ-
