The Ruppur Power Plant is one of the most talkedOF issues in Bangladesh. The rulling
government of Bangladesh under the prime minister Sheikh Hasina have already accomplished
a contract with a Russian company. The government also need a huge amount of credit about
two hundred billion US dollars,is a huge sum of money as a developing country like Bangladesh.
However,it has a great advantage and disadvantage too. One of those advantage is,creating a
huge amount of employment and standarising the education in a specific sector of nuclear
power energy as a developing country like Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a small country with a rare skilled and mostly unskilled people. Most of the
people are uneducated and they havent any specific job to do. So, the Ruppur power plant
probably will be the great opportunity to those people who are going street to street for
searching job. This project has adifferent sectors to multiply their energy,so to conduct those
several sectors,there need a large number of employees who have specific knowledge to
conduct the functions. If the power plant will be started , the unemployed people will have a
great chance to attach them with the project . and they will earn their livelihood in a
continuous process and they will be able to feed their family and children those hadnt a
square meal as before. All of us know that most of the graduate and post graduate students are
searching a job which are needed to them to do. So,the Ruppur power plant will be a great
opportunity to them. Then the large number of people will be the asset of Bangladseh except
of being population destruction. The nation will have a large number of manpower and these
skilled manpower can be exported to other countries and it will be a great chance for us to get
huge remittance.
To increase the energy from the Ruppur power plant,University of Dhaka have already
introduced a department named Neuclear Power Engineering Department. This departments
aim is to research how to increase the energy with a low labor cost and industrial cost. The
students of this department have already researched and they can be the expert employee for
the Ruppur power plant to accomplish their functions accurately and quickly with a low labor
cost and a high productivity.
Then the educated tycoon will be used in a proper way in this sector and the manpower will be
created for a country. Then they will be contribute to our nation economically and socially.
If the unemployed people and the educated students can have a employment in this
sector,they will be able to escape from the curse of unemployment. Then it will be the proper
utilizations of our central merits and we can get a resourceful manpower.
So the Ruppur power plant is more important for our country in the economic sector and a
great source of employment for the unemployed people.
