Canon is a Japanese company. Its headquarters resides in Ohta-ku, Tokyo,
Japan. Canon has approximately 257 locations worldwide!

History

4 people whose names were Takeshi Mitarai, Goro Yoshida, Saburo
Uchida, and Takeo Maeda founded canon on August 10, 1937. They founded it
by selling self-invented cameras in their garage.

portion of its sales also go into printers, scanners, calculators and other such office
equipment.

In the year 2013, Canon achieved $35, 537, 000, 000 in sales. Also, its net
income turned out to be $2, 195, 000, 000! To help achieve this, Canon has 194, 151
employees working for them around the world.




Companys future

Nobody can deny the fact that Canon has been one of the fastest growing
companies over the years and that it will continue to be so. They have constantly
been innovating their products and have made them better than they ever were.
Canons cameras are arguably the best quality cameras in the world. A big reason in
their success is the fact that they keep adding new technology and features into
their cameras and this encourages consumers to pick them over competitors.
Perhaps this is the reason why Canon continues to dominate the camera business
and companies like Kodak and Nikon are slowly dyeing out. Their genius is not only
limited to cameras. Canons printers and calculators are also excellent in quality and
price!

My Canon Career

It would be a real honor for me to get the chance to work in Canon.
Photography is one of my passions and Canon is the leading company involved in
cameras and this is a big reason on why I want to work for them. However, I do not
want to be in the engineering side of the company. I would like to work in the
business or legal team because they are my dream jobs and Canon has some of the
leading minds in both these fields. Taking these reasons into mind, I feel that I
would quite enjoy working in Canon and would love the opportunity to do so.
