WHATS SO UNCOMMON ABOUT FAVOUR?

Theres a trend amongst
believers to decree and to
declare uncommon favour
or blessings over their life. We
have for some reason
repeated these statements
because some tele-
evangelist or minister has
said it. And, we have
repeated it without any real
understanding.
We quote mens
sayings more
than Gods!

It sounds very
nice when we
say it! It even implies that
what is about to happen to
us is so unusual or
uncommon, that it is
something that we and
others least expect to
happen. Some have said it
(uncommon favour) like it is
a mantra of some sorts,
that when said, their answer
or miracle will magically
happen. There is an
implication that if your
miracle or answer comes, it
is because you are very
special, as it does not
happen to too many
people.

The word uncommon
simply means; not often
found, experienced, or
seen. The word
favour means;
approval or
support
You dont
hear any
preacher
praying and asking for an
uncommon miracle? Well,
because it is hardly found,
seen, or experienced by
many. But preachers pray in
faith knowing that is His will
and it is normal for Him to
heal.
Jesus we know did some
unusual miracles. It was
unusual because this type of
miracle was not seen before

Psalm 5:12, ESV For
you bless the righteous, O
Lord; you cover him with
favor as with a shield.

Exodus 33:17,
ESV And the Lord
said to Moses, This
very thing that you
have spoken I will
do, for you have
found favor in my
sight, and I know
you by name.

favor in the eyes of
the Lord.

ministering to. You could say
that it was uncommon
miracles.

But heres my point;
Favour is NOT uncommon or
unusual to the believer.
You are highly favoured
by God. Its His favour that
allows you another day. Its
His favour that gives you
access to His throne and to
call Him Abba Father! He
said that He will never leave
you or support you.

When I planted churches
in the UK, I had an
expectation of Gods
blessings. It was usual for me
to receive money, cars,
furniture etc as we built two
Churches. I live in
expectancy every day of
Gods goodness and His
blessings.
Favour is another word for
grace. Grace is not
uncommon or unusual. The
believer knows and
understands the favour and
the grace of God.
The people that think
favour or grace is unusual, is
the unbeliever! Why,
because its not normal in
the world we live in for
someone to show you so
much grace or favour.
Proverbs 3:34, ESV Toward
the scorners he is scornful,
but to the humble he gives
favor.
In this world you are only
rewarded according to
performance. In the
Kingdom of God, grace and
favour is extended towards
you regardless of your status
or condition in life
Psalm 30:5, ESV For his
anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
For the believer it should
be NORMAL to experience
Gods favour and grace.
When I preach His word, it is
normal for me to see God
move on His people. It is
normal for me to see a
miracle. It is normal for me to
see people get saved. It is
normal for me to see Gods
favour on peoples lives, who
put their trust in Him. For me it
is nothing uncommon!

When a believer speaks
about uncommon favour or
uncommon blessings, it is
because they dont
understand or have never
experienced much blessings
or favour in their life from
God. God desires to move in
your life. It is not unusual or
uncommon for Him to bless
His people.
