    COANA

    Mozambican born young artist started painting at his 7 years old , taught in the youth arts program of National Art
    Museum in Mozambique, where he started to show his artworks with 12 years old in 2000.
    In 2006, Coana was acepted by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China where he exchange his talent with local and
    foreign artists, also attends the school of architecture.

    His artwork is featured in the collection of National Art Museum and at public and private collections in Italy, France,
    Portugal, Germany, United States of America, Mozambique, Japan, South Africa, Brasil, China, The Netherlands,
    India, Singapore, New Guinea Papua, Seichelles Islands and England

    Coana has been active on the art scene in Beijing for the last 3 years his solo exhibitions include “Africa in Beijing” and “Col-
    ored Africa” in 2007, and has organizes group exhibitions with local artists such as “Africa China” art show in 2007 and “Artist
    together” in 2008.

    Next Exhibition:

    “Ubuntu” African oil painting exhibition tour, from January- August 2010

    Artists from different countries and Coana are working on Coana’s world African Art tour which will begin
    from January 2010. The tour will be an exhibition displaying Coana’s recent paintings, it will will take
    place in Mozambique, Australia, South Africa, South Korean, Seychelles Islands and Spain.
