UT150 OPC Server via Ethernet

Application:
PC based SCADA systems provide a consolidated view of plant control systems. Yokogawa
Green Series controllers can be integrated into the SCADA system with a Modbs !PC Server.

the serial cable can be e$pensive. Many new installations can take advantage of the e$isting
%thernet. "his application describes the configration of mltiple Yokogawa controllers
connected to a PC via %thernet.
"he SCADA system will read and write controller variables via the &epware !PC server. "he
&epware Modbs'(") !PC server ses %thernet %ncapslation to transmit the Modbs'(")
message across the %thernet network to a Device Server located near the controllers. "he Device
Server e$tracts and transmits the Modbs'(") message to the Yokogawa controllers. "he
Yokogawa controllers (S*+, port with Modbs'(") protocol allows a daisy chain
configration of p to -, controllers. Mltiple Device Servers can be sed for larger systems.
