0200 Patrol completed traffic stop on Market Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0229 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Market Street. William S. Yette, (18) of Potsdam, N.Y. was
issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for No/Inadequate Plate Lamps. Subsequent investigation
revealed a passenger, Kameron M. Perry, (19) of Potsdam, N.Y. to be in possession of a small
amount of Marihuana. Patrol issued Perry an Appearance Ticket for Unlawful Possession of
Marihuana. Both tickets are returnable to Potsdam Village Court on June 13
th
, 2014 at 9:30 am.

0630 Patrol responded to a report of Criminal Mischief done to a vehicle overnight. Investigation
continues.

0808 NCC reports a duress alarm at a local apartment complex. Patrol dispatched. Accidental
activation.

0828 Report of an aggressive dog on Lawrence Avenue. The dog is on a leash but charged another
walker and her dog. Investigation continues.

0911 Traffic stop completed on Maple Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0915 Potsdam Fire and Patrol dispatched to 80 Elm Street odor of gas.

0951 Report of an elderly person that has been scammed out of thousands of dollars after being told
that if she paid so much money, she would receive millions. THESE CALLS ARE NOT LEGITIMATE.
If you or a family member receives such a call, please check with other family members or
contact this department to determine the validity of the claim. 315-265-2121. Please do not
wire transfer money via Western Union Services, Money Pak Cards or other money transfer
services without first verifying the validity of the claim. These are commonly done at
drugstores, Wal-Mart and other retail outlets.

1003 Traffic stop completed on Pierrepont Avenue. A verbal warning was issued.

1051 Traffic stop completed on Market Street. A verbal warning was issued.

1331 Potsdam Rescue and Police dispatched to Mayfield for a 70s female fallen, possible broken arm.

1402 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive. The operator, D. M. Scoville-Upham age 37
of Potsdam, was issued a traffic summons for No Seat belt returnable in Potsdam Village Court
on 6/13 at 0830.

1538 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Market Street. The operator was given a verbal warning.

1601 Potsdam Police Department completed a NYS Buckle Up New York detail. The following tickets
were issued which are all returnable to Potsdam Village Court on 06/13/14 at 9:30am:

Julie M. Hollis (22), West Seneca, NY was issued a traffic ticket for No Seat Belt at 4:29pm on
Sandstone Drive.

Thomas W. Plimpton (48), Peru, NY was issued a traffic ticket for Speed in Zone 60mph/30mph
zone at 4:30pm on Madrid Avenue.

Andrea M. Malik (51), Colton, NY was issued a traffic ticket for No Seat Belt at 4:50pm on Park
Street.

Patrick David (42), Akwesasne, ON was issued a traffic ticket for No Seat Belt at 5:21pm on
Market Street.

Kathleen M. Carranza (55), Canton, NY was issued a traffic ticket for Passed Red Light at 5:57pm
on Market Street.

Charles E. Peterson (23), Potsdam, NY was issued a traffic ticket for Speed in Zone
45mph/30mph zone at 7:06pm on Lawrence Avenue.

Ronald C. Keyes (58), Waddington, NY was issued a traffic ticket for No Seat Belt at 8:10pm on
Market Street.

1658 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Market Street. A verbal warning was issued.

1916 Patrol completed a welfare check on a village resident.
