[Digimon List from JusticeGundam's Character FAQ]

This FAQ is only allowed to be posted on GameFAQS. You may copy/print this
guide for personal, private use only. This guide may not be sold for profit
under any circumstances.

---------------------------+
=Reading The Walkthrough= |
---------------------------+

I've formatted the entire guide like so, well the walkthrough portion of the
guide anyway. Read the following example to make sure you understand.

FORMAT EXAMPLE:

Zone --------> DEATH VALLEY [Code used for find function]

Region -------> GOBLIN PASS [Code used for find function]

Tips ---------> Recommended Levels: xx - xx (xx - xx Hard) [xx - xx Very Hard]
Enemies ------> Enemies: List of Digimon encountered here
***Notes*** --> ***Note: A specific detail pointed out in here.***

Body ---------> Explanations on what to do in this Area, treasures found,

switches to be pressed, etc..
Bosses -------> Bosses are found in dungeons and will be labeled like so.
DUNGEON BOSS:
-NAME OF BOSS

Strategy to beat boss will follow.

Bosses will only appear in dungeons and or specific areas of the game. For
the recommended levels, if you are playing the NORMAL setting, read the first
group of numbers. If your are playing HARD refer to the numbers in the
parentheses "()." Finally, if your playing VERY HARD, refer to the numbers
in the brackets "[]"

***Search Function: This guide utilizes the special Find (Ctrl + F) function
to quickly jump to a specific section. Simply hit Ctrl + F and type in the
code of the area you are looking for. Lets see an example shall we.

FIND FUNCTION EXAMPLE:

1. Hit Ctrl + F.
2. Look for the code of the section you want to go too. Lets say you want the
list of Digimon in the game. Look for the code in the Table of Contents.
3. Type in the code in the "Find what:" box, the code.

---------------------+
=Table of Contents= |
---------------------+

For the walkthrough part of the table of contents, I set up a quick guide. If
you just need a general idea of what to do, you can look in the sub category
of the area you are in. For example, in the Humid Cave, the boss is Blossomon,
after you beat Blossomon you need to go back to Goblin Pass and make your way
to Abyss of Grief. Got it?
***Note: The walkthrough is just general directions and hints. I haven't
completed V. HARD MODE yet, as I've just unlocked it. If you are having
trouble in any areas, just level up some and look for stronger weapons and
armor.***

***IMPORTANT***

The Venom Jungle and Machine Pit sections are not done yet. I haven't added
them in just yet. I'll have it finished in the next update.

=Introduction= |

First off, I never really cared for Digimon. However, I thought that this
game was particularly fun. Given you can put up with hours of repetitive
button mashing and several typos by Bandai. This game is much better with
a bunch of friends. So if you can, get a couple of friends to start playing
with you.

Let it also be noted that I am playing the XBOX Version of this game. If you
have any other version, the only difference will be the buttons you press.

Since you are a reading this part, you must be starting a new game. So, press
start at the beginning of the game and select Game Start. Initially, you'll
have no Digimon to call (or load), so select "Create a Digimon." You will be
able to select from 4 Digimon. Agumon, Guilmon, Veemon, or Dorumon. You can
pick anyone since later on you can Digivolve into the other 3 anyway. I
started with Agumon since my friends already picked Guilmon and Veemon. Also
I wasn't going to be the purple guy (Dorumon).

---------------------+
=Digimon List= [1DL]|
---------------------+

Well since I'm doing like, everything else in this guide, I'm going to use
JusticeGundam's Character FAQ. Yeah I'm lazy aren't I?

END OF JUSTICEGUNDAM'S LIST

The list not only lists all the digimon you can possibly get in the game, but
it also shows you how to get each one and it shows the digimon's signature
weapon. Also, remember I didn't make that list, I just copied it straight
from JUSTICEGUNDAM'S guide. So the above list is his work, not mine.

I'm not completely sure on the GC Controls since I haven't used that controller
in a while. Plus I don't have a GC. So just correct me if I'm wrong.

---------------+
=Basics= [3BC]|
---------------+
The Main Menu:

In the Main Menu you can do several things. It will be set up like so...

[Digimon's Name] [Equipment]

[Digimon's Species] [Folder]
[Current HP/Max HP] [Techniques]
[Current MP/Max MP]
[STATS]
[Bits]
[EXP needed to level up]

Yeah its a little crude but work with me people. Anyway, you can switch
between one of your 3 currently equipped weapons, an Armor Core, or switch
to a different board by selecting the Equipment option.

If you choose Folder, you can check items in your Device, Key, Disk, or BITS
folder.

Techniques show your Digivolve, Weapon/MP Technique levels, and current MP

Techniques available.

The Digi-Lab:

At the Digi-Lab, you can Digivolve to another Digimon, or change the equipment
of your digimon.

Only 3 Weapons?:

For some reason, Bandai made the game so that you can only switch between 3
of your weapons. You need to go to the digi-lab to equip weapons from your
device folder. I'll give you an example...

You find a Beam Magnum A (Alpha). Your shot skill is 90 so you can equip it.
You would have to go to the Digi-Lab to change weapons. Lets say you have 3
weapons equipped. A Blunt Axe, Shot Pistol, and Crush Arm. They are your 3
primary weapons. The Beam Magnum A cannot be equipped unless you go to the
Digi-Lab. So you would go there and switch the Shot Pistol, with the Beam
Magnum A from your Device Folder. How much time did we just waste....however
its the way the game is so you'll be switching weapons often.

The Different Zones of the Doom Server:

The game revolves around you solving the mysteries of the Doom Server. The
evil Digimon have their home in the Doom Server and you must constantly battle
your way through different zones in the Doom Server. Each zone has a specific
name. You start in the Death Valley region, moving to the heated Dry Land,
then to the poisonous Venom Jungle, and finally to the source of evil, the
Machine Pit.

Leaving the Doom Server:

There are 3 ways to exit the Doom Server.

One - You can use a Gate Disk anywhere to immediately return to the Home Server
Two - You defeat the boss of a dungeon and use the teleporter at the end
Three - Die....well I hope you'll agree when I say lets skip option three.

The Security Gates (That blue symbol on the ground..):

The Security Gates are very useful. If you are playing alone, stand inside of
it to activate it. Then use a Gate Disk while standing in it to create a
temporary return point. That means when you are ready to go back into the Doom
Server, you can use the Emergency Gate to return to that exact point. If you
are playing with a friend or friends, all of you need to stand on the blue
symbol to activate the Security Gate. After you return to the Home Server
the Emergency Gate is located directly to the left of where you return, by the
Call Keeper.

The Blue Disks on the ground:

At the entrance of every zone, you will appear on a blue platform. Nearby
where you appear, a blue disk will be on the ground. If you walk up to it and
press the A button, you will see a small audio record of either Leomon, or an
Exploration team. They usually contain hints of the surrounding areas. If you
need more information or are lost, check all of the audio records.

Collecting ID Keys:

Each zone is home to several "boss" digimon. Each boss holds an ID Key that
you need to move to the final dungeon in that zone. I'll explain it more
later on.

Battling the Enemy:

The battles in Digimon World 4 take place in real-time. Meaning you can move
your Digimon around while battling the various enemies.

Levelling Up:
You level up your digimon through experience points RPG style. Each enemy you
kill yields some experience points. The tougher the enemy, the more you will
receive. As you grow in levels, your digimon will become stronger, and be
able to learn new techniques.

***IMPORTANT***
Dungeon Crawling Basics:

There are multiple dungeons which consists of many floors. There are a few
things you should know before you dive into any dungeon.
1. Look for a map. This is by far the most important.
2. Some dungeons have very annoying traps and switches that appear to do
absolutely nothing.
3. If you can't seem to open a certain door, try killing all the enemies or
search elsewhere for a switch. Most of the time you'll find a switch somewhere
and it will appear to do nothing, when in actuality it will open a door in
another area.
4. If the enemies are giving you trouble, leave and come back later when you
are at a higher level, or have better equipment. You can try to crawl through
at a low level if you want but if the regular enemies are giving you trouble,
the boss will probably kill you.
5. When you feel you are about to die, use an HP Disk. Don't bother saving
something you won't use right?
6. Wasting a Gate Disk is better than dying right?
7. For Multiplayer, cooperate! Theres no point in playing with more people if
they don't want to help. If a teammate thinks you should go one way, just go
with them to see what you discover.
8. I usually don't spend too much time searching for treasure chests, most hold
nothing of great value. If your like me, just try to find the quickest way
through the dungeon. The best weapons and armor are dropped by tough enemies
and bought in shops.
***IMPORTANT***

Game Over?:

When you are killed in battle, a small backup chip will be left behind where
you died. There are different rules for single player and multiplayer, I've
separated them below.

1P Mode Rules - If you die, you are teleported to the Home Server (Yamato) in
the Terminal area. You can travel to the point where you were
killed and use a Raise Disk to regain your experience and lost
bits.
Multiplayer Rules - If one of your teammates are killed, you can use a Raise
Disk on their chip to revive them. If all of your members
are killed, follow the 1P Rules.

Technique System:

Digimon World 4 uses a "Technique" System. I'll explain how it works. In the
game, there are different types of weapons. Not just swords, axes, etc., but
different types of skills. Skills like Bash, Slash, Blunt, Shot, or Crush
skills. Each weapon you find will belong to one or another category. Each
digimon specializes in one type of skill, e.g. Agumon is a Blunt Skills
specialist. As you use a certain type of weapon more, your technique will
rise. So if you constantly use Slash type weapons, it will constantly
increase your Slash skills. Keep in mind what type of specialist your Digimon
is since the signature weapons reflect their skill type. The technique system
applies to MP Techniques as well. Using Blast type MP Techs will increase
your Blast Tech.. You can check all of your digimon's techniques in the main
menu. Just press start, select techniques, and select...techniques again.

MP Techniques:

Your digimon will start with one MP Technique, usually a Blast-type Tech such
as Petty Fire, Petty Ice, etc.. You gain more MP Techniques as you level up.
You receive a new Technique at level 12 and level 22. I'm not sure about
when you learn the other MP Techniques since I've never learned any other ones.

Getting new Digivolutions:

To get new digivolutions (or evolutions) you must complete certain side-quests
during the game. Each sidequest has its own requirements and prerequisites.
I made a special section for all the sidequests. The Digimon list by
JUSTICEGUNDAM also tells you how to get a particular Digimon.

Training your Digimon:

When you first start the game, its a little difficult. The game will be
significantly easier if you have more friends playing since you can help each
other out while fighting. At first, there won't be a very quick way to level
up. Later on in the game, you'll find several points where you can consistently
kill vast groups of weak enemies. Your first opportunity to do this will be in
the Goblin Fortress. Then in Dry Land you will find several towers that spawn
weak MiniScorpiomon. In Venom Jungle there are sheer numbers of Otamamon. So
if you are having trouble, or starting with a new digimon, train at the above
locations to easily level up your digimon.

-------------------------------+
=YAMATO SERVER (HOME SERVER)= |
+-------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

The game starts with your chosen Digimon appearing in the Terminal Area of
the Yamato Server. You are told to speak with the commander in the Commander's
Room first. So lets head there now. From where you start, head down just a
bit and you'll see the teleporter on your left on a raised platform. Jump
up and go to the Commander's Room.
-------------------+
=COMMANDERS ROOM= |
-------------------+

When you appear, head up and right to see a set of stairs. Jump up and go
right to end up on a colorful walkway with someone sitting at the end of it.
This is Ophanimon, one of the commanders of the D.G.S (Digital Guard Security).
He will ask you to rescue Leomon in the Death Valley (I think he does, but I
can't remember the text from the beginning of the game...) After speaking with
him, head back to where you appeared and go right. Another teleporter will be
there which will take you back to the Terminal Area.

-----------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

Once you are here, go up and on your left you will find another raised platform
with another teleporter. Jump up and a menu will appear. Select Death Valley
and you will be teleported to the training area first. Just follow the
instructions and you'll be on your way in no time.

REGIONS: Goblin Pass, Abyss of Grief, Dome Base

DUNGEONS: Humid Cave, Cliff Dungeon, Goblin Fortress, Doom Dome
BOSSES: Blossomon, Mammothmon, Mecha Rogue 3, Apokarimon (Zone Boss)

--------------------+
=GOBLIN PASS= [4GP]|
--------------------+
Recommended Levels: 1 - 3 (45 - 50) [95 - 100]
Enemies: Goburimon, Numemon, Ogremon

Your first task is to retrieve two ID Keys. One from Blossomon, and another
from Mammothmon. You may want to wait for a while though and spend a little
time levelling up to at least level 3 or 4. If you want though, you can try
to beat Blossomon with your Shot Pistol. It is possible. Either way, start
by heading up off of the blue platform. You will encounter a couple of
Goburimon. Follow the path left to find a few more Goburimon. You can head
up the path some more to find more Goburimon, a box, and a barrel. Other than
that walk across the wooden bridge and turn left. You need to cut your way
through all the rocks and boulders on the left. The path to the right leads
to the Goblin Fortress, but you need the two ID Keys from Blossomon and
Mammothmon. You'll need to return here later on. After you cut through the
rocks, turn left across the wooden bridge. You'll run into a couple of
Goburimon, so just kill them and go on. At the end of the bridge, an Ogremon
and two Goburimon will appear and attack you. Kill them and destroy the boxes
and barrels. Then walk up to the switch and flip it. Go back across the
bridge and turn left. Break the two rocks and move slowly along the path since
there are traps above you. As you get closer, rocks will drop down from above.
So just run back and forth, when you see the rock drop, run back. Simple yes?
Break two more rocks and repeat on the second string of traps. Take the next
left and you'll run into a few more Goburimon. Continue on this path until
you see a path turning right. Take it and you'll see a big cave entrance.
That is the Humid Cave. Enter it if your ready.
-------------------+
=HUMID CAVE= [4HC]|
-------------------+
Recommended Levels: 2 - 4 (45 - 50) [96 - 101]
Enemies: Goburimon, Numemon, Sukamon, Ogremon
Boss: Blossomon
***Note: Enemies are stronger in dungeons than they are on the outside world.
They will also drop a little more experience points as a result though.***

The Humid Cave consists of two floors. Its very short and its not too hard
considering it is the first dungeon. I'd give you a few pointers if I could
actually remember where you are supposed to go. Sorry...anyways, I believe
I remember where the map is on the first floor. Head up, kill the first
Numemon, and turn right. After you kill the first group of enemies, turn
left and go up. I think the map is down the next right. If its not I'm sure
you'll see it soon if you keep exploring. I'll update this section next time I
play this dungeon. When you reach the second floor, you will be nearing the
boss' lair. There is a little marker near the lair of each boss. When you
see two blue colored circles next to each other and a heal circle of some type
then the boss is through the next doorway.

HUMID CAVE BOSS:

-BLOSSOMON

Blossomon is the easiest boss in the game. If your about level 5 or 6 and have
5+ HP Disks, then you can try to fight hand-to-hand. If not, equip the Shot
Pistol and just fire away, dodging Blossomon by running when it gets close to
you. If you have the MP Tech Petty Fire, you may also want to use that until
you run out of MP since Blossomon is weak to Fire-type attacks. If you choose
to fight hand to hand, you'll need to watch out since Blossomon has a long
reach. After a few hits, Blossomon will be stunned. Stay away and use your
MP Tech to keep Blossomon away. If you get too close, Blossomon will use a
Spin Attack on you. It hurts a bit more than Blossomon's normal attack. If
you find yourself in trouble, equip your Shot Pistol and just run and gun.

After you win, collect the ID Key in the center of the arena. In the next room
open the four chests and use the teleporter to return to the Terminal Area of
the Home Server.

-------------------------------+
=YAMATO SERVER (HOME SERVER)= |
+-------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

Go shopping, sell yourunwanted items and keep your eyes peeled for modded
equipment. When your done shopping and saving, head back to Death Valley.

-------------------------+
=Return to GOBLIN PASS= |
-------------------------+

You've got one ID Key, now you need one more from Mammothmon. First off, head
back to the area with the falling rock traps. After you reach the fork where
you turned left to reach the Humid Cave, turn right instead. When you see the
next fork, turn left to find a whole bunch of rocks and boulders. Charge up
your attack and crush through the obstructions. You'll fight a couple of
Goburimon afterwards, when you beat them, walk left across the stone bridge.
You'll see another audio record of Leomon and his exploration team. You can
check it out if you wish. Continue past it to enter the Abyss of Grief.

-----------------------+
=ABYSS OF GRIEF= [4AG]|
-----------------------+
Recommended Levels: 4 - 5 (46 - 50) [96 - 101]
Enemies: Goburimon, Ogremon
***Note: As you progress into new areas of a zone, enemies tend to get tougher
like they do in the dungeons.***

Immediately after entering, you can either turn left or right. You need a
Boat Key before you can head right so for now, lets go left. After the first
few Goburimon, take the next left across a wooden bridge. If you continue on
you'll still end up at your destination, but you'll run into more enemies, so
pick a path and follow it. If you turn left across the wooden bridge you'll
get to the Cliff Dungeon quicker. When you see a large entrance guarded by
a few Goburimon and an Ogremon, that is the Cliff Dungeon, the location of the
second ID Key held by Mammothmon.

----------------------+
=CLIFF DUNGEON= [4CD]|
----------------------+
Recommended Levels: 5 - 6 (46 - 50) [96 - 101]
Enemies: Goburimon, Numemon, Sukamon, Ogremon
Boss: Mammothmon

The Cliff Dungeon isn't that hard. I, once again apologize for not having a
more in-depth walkthrough at this point, but I will have more helpful tips when
I replay this dungeon with my friend. I do believe there are 3 floors in this
level though. So if you just carefully explore and find the map on each floor,
you shouldn't have any problems. I know I didn't.

CLIFF DUNGEON BOSS:

-MAMMOTHMON

Once again, if your level is around 8 or 9, and you have plenty of HP Disks to
spare, fight Mammothmon hand to hand. If not, equip your Shot Pistol and
avoid his charge attacks. If you get too close, Mammothmon will attack with
an Ice Spray from his trunk. Just avoid him and shoot him when he stops.
Now if your like me, you'll probably fight him hand to hand. First avoid the
charge attack. When Mammothmon crashes into the wall, run in and attack.
Then run away before Mammothmon uses his Ice Spray on you. Repeat this hit and
run tactic and Mammothmon will be extinct in no time.

Collect the second ID Key after the battle and the four chests in the next
room. Use the teleporter to exit the Cliff Dungeon and return to the Home
Server.

-------------------------------+
=YAMATO SERVER (HOME SERVER)= |
+-------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

Heal, sell your unwanted items, open any booster packs you collected, save,
purchase modded equipment if possible, and purchase HP Disks if inventory is
low. This is the basic routine when you return from dungeons.

---------------------------------+
=Return to GOBLIN PASS (Again)= |
---------------------------------+

Now that you have two ID Keys, you can enter the Goblin Fortress. Walk off
the blue platform where you start and turn left and cross the wooden bridge.
At the end of the wooden bridge, turn right and you'll see two guns. They will
shoot three times and stop briefly. That is your window of opportunity to try
and attack it. Of course you could just stand far away and shoot it with your
MP Tech or your Shot Pistol. During this time, you may notice a few Numemon
being dropped from the "sky." Well its actually a bunch of cannons on the
ledge above you so you could just ignore it. Past the two guns is the entrance
to the Goblin Fortress. Step on the red switch (or switches if your playing a
multiplayer game) to open the Goblin Fortress.

------------------------+
=GOBLIN FORTRESS= [4GF]|
------------------------+
Recommended Levels: 2 - 9 (40 - 50) [98 - 102]
Enemies: Goburimon
Boss: Mecha Rogue (Type-3)
***Note: Your probably wondering about the Recommended levels right? Well let
me just say that the Goblin Fortress is great for training new digimon. This
is your first opportunity to gain massive amounts of experience in a short
amount of time. However you should only train to about level 11 or 12 since
there are other areas later on in the game to train. (NOTE IS FOR NORMAL
MODE OF THE GAME)***

--------------+
=GUARD ROOM= |
--------------+

With the above note in mind, fight the first group of Goburimon and wait until
no more respawn. When the room seems clear, head down to find a room with a
whole bunch of boxes. There are ten, five on each side, but the box in the top
right corner is a trap. When you try to break it, you will see a face of a
Goburimon appear and a weird sound. This means more monsters will appear.
Break the rest of the boxes and go back into the large room where you fought
the first wave of Goburimon and get ready for more. After you kill off the
second wave, go up to find yet another room with more Goburimon. Kill all of
the Goburimon in there and a door will open somewhere. Leave that room and go
to middle of the large room and turn right to find the door leading to the
Rotating Hall.

-----------------+
=ROTATING HALL= |
-----------------+

When you first enter, you will fight a wave of Goburimon. Afterwards, the
door will open. You can now choose to continue up the Rotating Hall, or go
back to the Guard Room to train your Digimon some more. If you choose to go
on, the Rotating Hall has a circular walkway that leads higher up. Just
follow the walkway up, past MANY Goburimon and boxes, to reach a door on the
right. There is another door that leads to the Gobgob Room if you continue
past the first one. There isn't much in the Gobgob Room except even more
Goburimon. You can go there if you wish, but the objective at hand is to go
to the X Digimon Lab.

-----------------+
=X DIGIMON LAB= |
-----------------+

As soon as you enter, turn left and go toward the computer. Turn it on (or off
I forget) and then go into the arena to fight your first Mecha Rogue. This one
is a Type-3 (I just call it type 3 but the game will say Mecha Rogue 3.) There
are different types that will appear later in the game. For now, just get
ready for the fight.

GOBLIN FORTRESS BOSS:

-MECHA ROGUE (TYPE-3)

He isn't too tough, just try to rush him and attack since long range tactics
won't work as well. Keep an eye on your HP so you don't die. If you do
happen to die, you'll have to make your way through the Goblin Fortress again.
Try to avoid his attacks while you try to get in close. I don't really recall
any of the attacks he uses since I trained my Digimon to about level 11 and
beat him silly. So if he is really giving you a tough time, just die, train
your Digimon, go back and use a Raise Disk on your back-up chip, and pummel
him.

When you win, move forward to find Leomon. After you talk with him, you'll be
teleported automatically back to the Home Server.

-------------------------------+
=YAMATO SERVER (HOME SERVER)= |
+-----------+
=COMMANDERS ROOM= |
-------------------+

You'll already be speaking to Ophanimon when you appear, he'll give you the
Boat Key which Leomon recovered. Now go shopping, heal, and save. Then head
back to Death Valley.

----------------------------+
=Return to ABYSS OF GRIEF= |
----------------------------+

You should know the way by now right? When you return, instead of turning left
like last time to go to the Cliff Dungeon, go right past the first few things
blocking your way. Before you walk up the long hill, barrels will begin
rolling down. You need to jump over them, or block each barrel that is about
to hit you. I personally like to block the barrels. I find it easier, but
it is possible to jump over the barrels. When you reach the top, stand right
next to the barrel spitting machines and destroy them. Two Goburimon will
appear afterwards, kill them and move to the right ledge. You will see very
tall pillars jutting out of the ground. You need to jump across each one to
the other cliff. I think there are about 4 or 5 pillars you need to jump
across. When you make it to the other side, a Goburimon will appear so run
toward it and attack it so it doesn't knock you off the edge.

***Note: If you fall you will appear at a checkpoint of sorts, with 1HP. Just
move down the path breaking all the rocks and boxes. You'll see the ledge
again and you can keep trying until you make it across. So don't heal until
you have the other cliff in sight.***

After you kill the Goburimon, you'll run into a very familiar face and I think
it wants some revenge.

Mini-Boss
-BLOSSOMON

Use the same strategies as the first Blossomon, either hit-and-run, or long
distance attacks. Either way, you should be stronger than before so this fight
should be easy. Just remember to keep an eye on your HP.

After you beat Blossomon, continue down the path to find a boat. The Boat Key
Leomon gave to you will activate the boat. If you don't have the Shot Pistol
or another type of Gun weapon, return to the Home Server and get it now. You
will need it on the Numenume River to rescue the Digi-Elves and to safely
pass through the myriad of traps.

-----------------------+
=NUMENUME RIVER= [4NR]|
-----------------------+
Recommended Levels: 5 - 7 (47 - 50) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Numemon, Various Traps

On the Numenume River are 10 captured Digi-Elves. You need to attack their
trap 5 times each to free them. Also, any damage inflicted upon you will be
channeled to your boat. So try not to get hit too much in the beginning since
it gets more tough at the end. If you can, try to play this part with a few
friends to make it much easier. Try to rescue as many Digi-Elves as you can
so that next time you can rescue the ones you missed with less trouble.

------------------+
=DOME BASE= [4DB]|
------------------+
Recommended Levels: 9 - 11 (47 - 50) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Goburimon, Kokatorimon

After you get off the boat follow the path. You'll run into a couple of rocks
and boxes and then a pair of guns. Break them and move further along the path.
You'll soon run into a couple of Goburimon and a new enemy, Kokatorimon. Well
he's kind of annoying since he can put you to sleep. Just try to kill off the
Goburimon first. Then go after the Kokatorimon. Continue along the path and
you'll find more Goburimon and two more Kokatorimon. After you kill them all
you can either head into Doom Dome, the final dungeon of Death Valley, or you
can make a pit stop and head back to the Home Server to heal and save. If you
want to go back, look for a long line of rocks (or was it boxes?) and destroy
them to find a hidden Emergency Gate. Use it if you wish, when you are ready
head to the entrance of Doom Dome.

------------------+
=DOOM DOME= [4DD]|
------------------+
Recommended Levels: 10 - 11 (49 - 51) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Goburimon, Numemon, Sukamon, Ogremon

From where you enter, run straight into the next room to fight a bunch of
Ogremon. After that I'm not going to be able to help since I can't recall what
to do in this dungeon. Its not too difficult. Only two floors if I can
remember it correctly. The first floor is fairly short once you find the map.
The second isn't that much longer. You know your near the end when you find
the HP (or was it MP?) healing circle and you find the large hole in the floor
with pillars you need to jump across. Anyway, when you see the teleporter
leading to the boss, it looks like a red circle with a black figure in the
center of it, you need to kill all of the enemies to activate the teleporter.
First kill the enemies around the teleporter, then jump back across the pillars
to find another group of enemies. After they are all gone, jump back to the
teleporter and step inside it to enter Apokarimon's Space.

----------------------+
=APOKARIMON'S SPACE= |
----------------------+
Recommended Levels: 13 - 15 (50 - 52) [?? - ??]
Enemies: None

DOOM DOME BOSS:

APOKARIMON
Thats right, its the first real boss. He's fairly difficult if you don't know
what to do. You'll probably die the first two or three tries but you'll
eventually get the hang of it. The arena has multiple levels. You'll be
spending most of your time on the middle level to avoid the trap of the bottom
level and to attack the 5 stone balls which protect Apokarimon. His attacks
are listed below.
1. Eruption - He will toss out multiple spheres of fire which will then explode
after a few seconds. Easily dodged.
2. Ice Wave - He'll slide across the ground, put his hands up, and blast you
with an Ice attack. Try to guard or get out of the way.
3. Dark Pillars - Apokarimon will pound the ground sending pillars of dark
energy chasing you. Kind of annoying, but he only uses this
when you destroy the 5 stone balls. Run around Apokarimon
to avoid it as best as you can.
4. 4 Rolling Blades - You can see them circling the arena, sometimes they will
stop and drop to the second level, which is where you
will be standing for most of the beginning of the fight,
and roll across the arena. Other times, they'll just
drop, and rise again. Block, if they roll along the
ground, or jump.
Now that you know his attacks, start the battle by attacking the 5 strange
stone ball things. You won't be able to attack Apokarimon until they are all
gone. However he won't sit around waiting for you to destroy the balls, he'll
constantly use his Ice Wave, Eruption, and the 4 Rolling Blades to try and
kill you. Try to avoid his attacks and concentrate on staying alive and
breaking the 5 stone balls. After you destroy them all, Apokarimon will start
floating around the third level of the arena. Jump up and begin attacking
him. He'll constantly use his Dark Pillar attack so try to keep moving around
Apokarimon to avoid it. Just attack, move when you see him pound the ground,
and then attack again from the side or behind him. Watch your HP because his
attacks can tend to hurt sometimes.

Victory will net you four chests, which usually contain good items, and a
teleporter to the Home Server.

Heal in the Heal Circle and then go to the Commanders Room.

-------------------+
=COMMANDERS ROOM= |

Go up and talk to Commander Ophanimon. During the conversation an alarm will

go off. It seems the X Virus is attacking the Home Server. Ophanimon will
give you his ID Key to activate Seraphimon. Go back to the Terminal Area now.

-----------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

From there, go into the Central Area, left of where you appear.

----------------+
=CENTRAL AREA= |
----------------+

Turn right and continue until you reach the Card Keeper, from there turn right
again. Turn right yet again to pass a few digimon and then follow the path
to find another right turn. If the music is scaring you don't worry, you are
not timed, I know because I took like 20 minutes to figure out what to do.
After that look for a computer with a red screen. Go up to it and activate it.
You just opened a door in the Shop Area. So head back the way you came. When
you reach the Card Keeper hang a left. Past the Data Keeper and Digi-Lab,
take the next right. Follow this path (you should see the Appraisal Keeper)
to head into the Shop Area.

-------------+
=SHOP AREA= |
-------------+

The Weapons Shop is right in front of you, turn right from there. When you see
a couple of stairs on your right again, jump up. This is where the door has
opened. You'll see it on the left. Head through there and you will find a
teleporter. It takes you to the Security Area. Lets use it shall we?

-----------------+
=SECURITY AREA= |
-----------------+

There will be 3 consoles. Use the one on your right first, then turn around
and use the one on the bottom. After you turn those two on, turn on the final
one to activate Seraphimon, who will boost the power of the Divine Aura to
maximum strength. Good job, you stopped the X Virus! You'll be taken to the
Commanders Room afterwards.

-------------------+
=COMMANDERS ROOM= |
-------------------+

You will be speaking with Seraphimon, he'll tell you to go investigate the Dry
Land. Well what are we waiting for? Lets go there now! After you save of
course.

DUNGEONS: Sand Labryinth, Ancient Ruins, Virus Lab
BOSSES: SkullGreymon, Scorpiomon, Malomyotismon

---------------------+
=MUMMY DESERT= [4MD]|
---------------------+
Recommended Levels: 10 - 12 (50 - 52) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Mummymon, MiniScorpiomon, Tyrannomon
***Note: Mummy Desert is home to the 1st of 3 Scorpion Towers. Basically, each
tower continually respawns MiniScorpions for quite sometime. Since they are
fairly easy to beat, this is a good area to start training again.***

You'll appear on a blue platform, much like the one in Death Valley. Start by
walking left across the next blue platform and a wooden bridge. You'll run
into a couple of Mummymon. After you kill them, you can either turn left to
collect the first ID Key, or you can head right to train for a while at the
first Scorpion Tower. Its up to you.

However, if your having trouble with the Mummymon, consider training at the
Scorpion Tower to level up your Digimon quickly. Also take note that the
tower itself can be destroyed fairly quickly. It only takes two hits, or one
charge attack. When fighting the MiniScorpions avoid standing near the tower.
If you keep fighting all the MiniScorpions, the tower will eventually shatter.
The tower may seem like it will spawn an infinite number of enemies, but it
will eventually stop. When it does, you will probably have leveled up at
least twice.

Turning left from the wooden bridge at the start will lead to more Mummymon.
If you kill this group of Mummymon, Tyrannomon will appear (more appear if you
are playing multiplayer). Continue down the path and you'll come to another
fork. You can head left or right, it won't matter. If you go left, you'll
break a few rocks, run into a few Mummymon, and have an opportunity to use a
Security Gate. If you turn right, you'll fight a couple of Mummymon. After
the Mummymon, turn right to find the entrance to the Sand Labryinth. If you
turned left at the fork earlier, pass the Security Gate to find the entrance.

=SAND LABRYINTH= [4SL]|
-----------------------+
Recommended Levels: 17 - 20 (52 - 54) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Mummymon, Minotauromon
Boss: SkullGreymon
***Note: You will be cursed while you explore this dungeon. The Curse slows
your attacking speed down. Which means it takes longer to recover after you
attack. So instead of being able to continuously attack one after another,
you'll be attacking, then waiting at least a full second before being able
to attack again. This is quite annoying although you won't really notice it
until you get hurt big time.***

Your standard dungeon. Start off by searching for the map. If you run into
a room with seemingly infinite Mummymon, you need to look in a nearby area for
a weird tower and destroy it. If you don't, you'll be fighting Mummymon for
quite a while, which is good if you want to train. This dungeon consists of
two floors so it should be fairly quick. When you reach the end, you'll face
SkullGreymon.

SAND LABRYINTH BOSS:

SKULLGREYMON

He's not too hard. From what I've seen, he only uses one attack. He charges
up a missile attack, and then fires it. So he basically stands still, charges
up (you can get hurt if you touch him while he is charging), and fires missiles
at you. So just attack when he is not charging up. If you are at a high
level (19+), then you can just charge in and keep attacking for an easy win.

When you smash SkullGreymon, you'll win his ID Key. Break the four chests in
the next room and use the teleporter to return to the Home Server.

-------------------------------+
=YAMATO SERVER (HOME SERVER)= |
+-------------+
=TERMINAL AREA= |
-----------------+

After your battle with SkullGreymon, do the usual routine. Heal, shop, open
any collected Booster packs (B Packs), and save. When you're done, head back
to the Dry Land.

--------------------------+
=Return to MUMMY DESERT= |
--------------------------+

When you appear, walk across the next blue platform and the wooden bridge then
turn left after you fight the Mummymon. Continue down the path killing any
Mummymon you see. When you reach the fork again, take the right path. Keep
on going until you see a higher ledge. Jump up and fight the Mummymon that
appear. There is a path leading off to the right, toward Grief Wasteland but
we're not heading there just yet. Instead, take the path directly ahead of
you. If you killed all of the surrounding Mummymon, Tyrannomon(s) will appear.
You should see a slightly elevated ledge with a switch on it. Jump up and flip
it. You'll hear machinery of some sorts working and then stop. If you go onto
the other two nearby platforms you'll find boxes with items on one, and (one to
four) Mummymon on the other (King Mummymon may appear). Head all the way back
the way you came after you flip the switch. When you reach the wooden bridge
you crossed when you started, head to the right of it, toward the Scorpion
Tower. When you reach the tower, look for a couple of boxes and barrels and
break them. Continue on that path and jump up a few ledges to come to a pair
of guns. Destroy them and walk past them to find the Storm Train. Get on it
to take a ride to the Power Plant. ***Note: The switch you flipped merely
lowered a section of the bridge near the Storm Train.***

--------------------+
=STORM TRAIN= [4ST]|
--------------------+
Recommended Levels: 18 - 19 (51 - 53) [?? - ??]
Enemies: MiniScorpiomon, Stingraymon, Various Traps
***Note: You will be using a hammer-type weapon instead of your normal equipped
weapon for this section of the game. You will also be unable to access the
menu, or use any items/MP techs for this segment. EXP is not given out if you
kill enemies either.***
***IMPORTANT***
(If you just want to find out which turns to take, then read the section below
this one.)

This part is fairly short if you know what to do, and luckily for you, I know
what to do. First off, take notice of the pair of switches you pass. You
are currently heading straight, as the arrow above so obviously points out.
You can however change your course if you swing your hammer at the switch that
points to turn right. For now, lets just stay on course and head straight.
When you reach the next turn point, you will be given a choice to turn left.
Instead, pass this one as well without turning, and head for the third turn
off. You will be given a choice to turn right at the third switch point. Here
is where you want to hit the switch point with your hammer. Quickly stand on
the right side near the arrow pointing right. As you pass by it, swing your
hammer to change the direction the train is heading. You'll know it worked if
the arrow you hit spins around and the arrow at the top of the screen points
to the right. You'll be attacked by a couple of traps and Stingraymon but
nothing you can't handle. After you get back on the central track, you'll be
heading back the way you came. You'll be given an option to turn right soon.
Ignore it and continue. When you are offered to turn right a second time, hit
the switch to take the turn. Afterward, you'll be attacked by more Stingraymon
and traps. Kill off the Stingraymon as quickly as you can because the next
turn is coming up. When you see the sign to turn left, hit it or you'll go in
a complete circle and have to start over. On this track, you'll run into
numerous enemies. You'll also run into a new electrical trap. Jump over the
low ones, and stand underneath the high ones. Avoid the traps as best as you
can as you try to fight off the Stingraymon. Eventually, you'll see a red
flashing light. You have to stand near the post, and hit it to turn the light
green and open up the gate ahead. If you don't, then you lose and you'll have
to start over (I think you do, I've never actually hit the gate). After
another gate, you'll wind up at the Power Plant.

QUICK GUIDE ON THE STORM TRAIN:

-Skip the first turn (right turn)
-Skip the next turn (left turn)
-Take the 3rd turn (a right turn)
-Skip the next two turns (right then left turn??) <-- Not sure on this one
-Take the next right turn
-Take the next left turn
-Open the two gates to reach the Power Plant

All you are here to do is shut down the Power Plant. To do so, break all of
the little electrical devices on the ground. You should see the large power
structure in the center shut down. Take the swirling teleporter back to the
Mummy Desert. ***Note: Failing to do this section will lead to your untimely
death in Station X. Trust me, you want to come here and shut this plant down.
RIGHT?!***

=Return to MUMMY DESERT (Again)= |

You'll appear on the blue platform like usual. Cross the wooden bridge and
turn left. Continue on until you reach the fork again. Take the right path
again and fight the Mummymon that appear in your way. Jump up the ledge and
this time, turn right. You'll run into a couple of Mummymon on the ledge as
well as one (a few if playing a Multiplayer game) toward the right. When you
reach the large entrance in the wall, you'll be on your way to Grief Wasteland.

Enemies: Mummymon, MiniScorpiomon, Tyrannomon, Arukenimon
***Note: The last pair of Scorpion Towers are found here. If you've finished
training at the first one, you can continue doing so here.***

When you gain control of your Digimon again, head straight and break the rocks
blocking your way. You'll see a couple of cacti(?) that shoot needles at you.
If you hit them twice they will be stunned, I guess, for a little while. Run
ahead and drop down the ledges to fight a group of Mummymon. Kill them and
continue on the path. You'll eventually fight another group of Mummymon. If
you kill this group of Mummymon, Tyrannomon will appear. Just ahead is the 2nd
Scorpion Tower. You should consider training now, if you didn't train at the
first one. Remember to stay away from the tower when fighting and to avoid
the pools of poison that are left when they shoot their projectiles. Near the
tower itself, you'll see a pair of rocks next to each other, break them and go
across the bridge to find the entrance to the Ancient Ruins.

Enemies: Mummymon, MiniScorpiomon, Stingraymon, Minotauromon, Pharoahmon
Boss: Scorpiomon
***Note: You will be cursed in this dungeon as well.***

Once again, I apologize for not having an indepth description on what to do but
I just can't remember three floors of puzzles, corridors, enemies, and treasure
chests. You'll just have to do your best to find the map first, and look for
the stairwell leading down. Then again, it wouldn't be all fun if I just told
you exactly what to do. Where's the fun in that? =] On the final floor, I
do remember that you fight a Pharoahmon as soon as you enter the first room.
After you kill the Pharoahmon, you'll activate the Security Gate on the floor
and open a couple of doors. One on the left and right. Take the one on the
left and look for the room with Mummymon. If you kill them, more keep on
coming which means there is a tower spawning them nearby. Go to the bottom
right corner of the room and hit the walls. One of them is fake. You'll find
a short passage with a tower at the end of it. Break the tower to stop the
Mummymon from spawning and then kill them all. The door will open. Move on
and hit the button that you see to open another nearby door. Go down and
take the next right turn. You should be able to walk out onto some shifting
sand. Move across and stay as close to the wall as you can. When you reach
a certain point, a bunch of Stingraymon will appear. Try to stay near the wall
as you fend them off. If you are having a hard time, run back to solid ground
and then fight then as they come toward you. When you kill ALL of them, two
doors will open. Take the one leading right from the shifting sands. You'll
see two rocks and two switches. Break both rocks then quickly hit both of the
switches to open up the nearby door. Inside is a yellow healing circle, and
the map. I would tell you how to finish the rest but I can't remember how many
rooms there were. Just head as far down as you can, then when you open one
door that leads to two other locked doors and more shifting sand, go back and
go down on the other side. You'll see what I mean when you get the map, and if
not, just hit all the switches, kill all the enemies and you'll be fighting
Scorpiomon in no time!

ANCIENT RUINS BOSS:

SCORPIOMON

He's kind of annoying. Well not really, just make sure you keep attacking him
so he can't shock you with his stupid lightning bolts. As long as he doesn't
charge the electricity up and releases it, you won't have to dodge any bolts.
Keep attacking him, and avoid his attacks. He's really easy as long as you
keep your health up. Eventually, you'll squash him like a bug.

When your done squashing Scorpiomon, collect his ID Key and break the four
chests. Then use the teleporter to leave this awful cursed place.

Digivolution. The sidequest will be easier if you have more friends that are

are interested, go to the table of contents and look for the Undead Yard in the
sidequest section.***

You know how to get there right? Once your there head past the second Scorpion
Tower to find a path going further down. Drop down the ledges and you'll come
to a path where MiniScorpiomon attack you from the higher ledge. Run through
the small path and you'll reach a wooden bridge. Cross it and attack the
MiniScorpiomons and train some more at the final tower. Be careful not to fall
off the ledge while you are fighting. You should train to about level 22+ so
you have your Petty Heal Lt. Technique. Afterwards, whether you train or not,
break the rocks that you see nearby after you cross the bridge. Continue down
the path and you should see another wooden bridge, ignore this one and keep on
going. You will run into another pair of guns, after you destroy them you'll
find the entrance to Station X. Step on the red switch (switches if you are
playing a Multiplayer Game) to open the locked door. Now enter Station X.

the recommended level, return to the Home Server now. Purchase a few MP Disks,
at least 6 to be safe. If you are not at the recommended level, but have
already destroyed the 3 Scorpion Towers, save your game, and when you are asked
to "Return to the Lobby?" choose "End the Game." Now restart your game. Go
back to Dry Land and surprise! The Scorpion Towers will be back. Train until
you have reached the appropriate levels, or until you feel safe.***

Station X is a very heavily defended base. You'll find that out the hard way
if you head left. It is possible to pass the four large turrets, while you
cut your way through all the obstacles. However its much easier to just
destroy all four turrets and then pass through the many obstacles without any
problems. First turn right and head away from the obstacle-ridden path. At
the corner of the path, where it turns right, attack the walls to find a hidden
breakable wall containing a switch. Flip it to lower a small bridge nearby.
Continue down the path to find a few MiniScorpiomons. Kill them and walk to
the nearby bridge. Cross the first one to the first small platform. From that
point, switch to your MP Tech and repeatedly fire it at the large guns. You
should hear the guns being hit and then destroyed. If you think you aren't
hitting it, move slightly closer, but not so much as to set the guns off. You
need to destroy 4 of them, so when you destroy two, move up just a little.
Continue until they are all destroyed. Then go back and cut your way through
the many rocks and boulders. After you come to the end of the many obstacles,
you will jump up a few ledges and come to another bridge. Be careful because
at the end of this bridge is another large turret. Destroy it with your MP
Tech and then move across the bridge.

You should see a very strange red gate as you enter. As soon as you enter, 2
smaller turrets will start to attack you, and to compound your problems, more
MiniScorpiomons will appear. Destroy the guns first, be careful as there are
2 more nearby. After you destroy the guns and kill off the MiniScorpiomons,
move further along the path. You'll pass another audio record, listen to it
if wish. You'll reach two more pairs of small turrets and then you should
come to a fork. Take the path leading right (you should also drop down a few
ledges on this path) and you'll be able to enter the large area containing the
first of 4 X Virus Transmitter Towers. Moving in closer will force numerous
MiniScorpiomons to spawn and attack you. Take out the enemies but don't attack
the tower just yet. Stay away from it if your low on health as well. After
you take out the MiniScorpiomons, or if they fall in the center with the tower,
switch to your MP Tech and shoot the tower from the 2nd or 3rd level up. Then
finish off any stragglers and go back up. When you reach the metal grated
path again, walk toward the screen (or down if you will) to find another large
area. Repeat the same tactics for this tower as you did the first. After
that, go back up and turn left. You should pass another large area, I don't
quite remember, but look for the 3rd tower on the way. Continue on until you
reach a locked entrance, and a Security Gate. You need to look for the 4th
tower to activate the switch (switches if you are playing a Multiplayer Game).
A little pass this area is the final tower. Destroy it and go back to unlock
the entrance to the Virus Lab.

Enemies: Pharoahmon, MiniScorpiomon, Minotauromon
Boss: Malomyotismon

This is the final dungeon in Dry Land. There will be a new trap in this level.
Lasers, very powerful lasers. When you pass through the laser's path, they
will fire at you. Jump or block it to avoid it. Continue looking around for
the map. I think there were only 2 floors. I could be wrong because I kind of
forgot how many floors there were. Anyway, just look for the map and make your
way through the lab. Eventually, you will come to a very large hole much like
the final dungeon in Death Valley, Doom Dome. However, instead of pillars,
there will be moving platforms. Defeat all the enemies on both sides of the
room, and then step into the teleporter to enter the final battle with
Malomyotismon.

VIRUS LAB BOSS:

MALOMYOTISMON

Malomyotismon is really annoying. Every time you beat him up on the ground, he
will fly into the air and stay there for a while. Eventually he'll start to
fly at the edge of the arena and land. He'll use his Dual Lasers after he
lands. Dodge the attacks below and simply beat him up when he is on the ground.
While he's flying, heal if you are hurt. Sometimes he'll stay in the air for
a while and it can be annoying.
1. Thunder Blast - The same thing Scorpiomon used except Malomyotismon can use
it at will while flying around the arena.
2. Shockwave Landing - When Malomyotismon lands, shockwaves will be sent all
across the arena. Jump or block to avoid this one.
3. Dual Lasers - After the Shockwave Landing, Malomyotismon will kneel, and 2
lasers will sweep across the arena from his shoulders. Either
stand behind and off to the side of Malomyotismon after he
lands, or try to position yourself in the middle of the two
converging lasers.

After you win the battle, open the four chests and then use the teleporter. You
just finished up Dry Land.

The first area of the Venom Jungle, Gekogeko Land. You'll start off on the blue
platform (as usual) and see a path heading right. Follow it and you'll drop
down a few levels. The first order of business is locating the 3 ID Keys you
will need to complete Venom Jungle. From where you drop down the ledges, turn
right and head toward the bottom of the screen. You should see a staircase of
sorts leading down. Drop down and when you get to the bottom, jump off the
upper part of the ledge. You should now be heading up. Turn right and make
your way past the Otamamon and Gekomon to the upper right corner of the screen.
You will eventually come upon a Security Gate and an entrance nearby leading to
the Geko Path. Use the Security Gate if you wish and enter the Geko Path.

Boss: ShogunGekomon

Standard dungeon fare. Look for the map first since the dungeons will start
getting a little more complicated. I don't remember how many floors are in this
dungeon but just find the map and make your way to the boss. When you get there
prepare for an annoying battle.

GEKO PATH BOSS:

SHOGUNGEKOMON

The most annoying boss in perhaps the entire game. Usually he'll start the
battle with an incredibly powerful version of the Gekomon's Symphony Crusher,
the ShogunGekomon Lullaby. The attack has an unbelievably wide range. If you
are put to sleep, simply wait until you are attacked. Try to stay in close so
you can keep attacking him, but at the same time if you are put to sleep, you
will immediately be awakened by touching him. After a couple attacks he'll
drop to the ground sending out a shockwave. Block it if you see it coming, but
don't stop attacking him. Sometimes you can stop his Lullaby if you attack him
at the right moment but its difficult to know when to attack. Eventually, he'll
be sleeping with the fishes. Collect his ID Key after the battle.

When you knock ShogunGekomon out, get the ID Key, the four chests in the next
room, and leave via the teleporter.

equipment very soon. When you are done, head back to the Venom Jungle.

=Return to GEKOGEKO LAND= |

Head off the blue platform and drop down the first set of ledges. Instead of
going right, turn left this time to find a metal platform of sorts. Break the
two rocks blocking your path and continue. You will run into some Otamamon,
nothing too difficult. Further down this path will be a vehicle of some kind.
Ride it to the Mangrove Forest.

Recommended Levels: 30 - 32 (72 - 73) [?? - ??]
Enemies: Otamamon, Gekomon, *Rhinos*
Bosses: Mecha Rogue x3 (Type-4)

The Vine Tunnel is just a little more difficult than the Geko Path. I would
apologize again for not having an in-depth walkthrough of this dungeon and the
other ones but we've had enough of my apologies right? So, look for the map,
take notice of any valuable treasures and such. Make your way through and you
will eventually come upon the boss, err bosses.
VINE TUNNEL BOSS:
MECHA ROGUES x3 (TYPE-4)

There are 3, count'em 3 Mecha Rogues this time. They all share the same moves
and are easily beaten if you have a friend or two, or three. If you are alone,
attack the ones that come near you. Try to trap one or two against the wall and
pummel it relentlessly while watching for the other Mecha Rogues. After you
take out one, the other two won't be so difficult. The best strategy would be
to trap them against the walls and just beat them senseless. If you have more
friends you can trap all 3 against the walls and just crush them easily. We
like to make a contest out of it, whoever destroys their Mecha Rogue first gets
to take more items at the end. Of course thats just us.

After the final Mecha Rogue drops, collect the ID Key, the four chests, and then
teleport out of this stupid dungeon.

You have 2 of 3 ID Keys. Only one more to go! First, heal, shop, and save.
The next section of the game is a little annoying. Also, if you haven't picked
up a Filter Board yet, now would be a good time to do so. Only MetalEtemon
sells Filter Boards and you need to have donated at least 1,000 BITS to him.
The Filter Board will play a key role in the later section of Venom Jungle.
For now, lets just head back to Venom Jungle and find the last ID Key.

-------------------------------+
=7 SWITCHES IN GEKOGEKO LAND= |
-------------------------------+

To open the next dungeon, you need to do two things. The first is finding 7
switches in GekoGeko Land. Start off by heading to the lower area where you
entered the Geko Path. When you reach the bottom of the staircase of ledges,
drop down where you see the poisonous flower. Either shoot it or attack it when
the poisonous vapors disappear. Now begin your search of the switches at the
far left of the area and work your way down, then to the right, and continue
until you have found all 7 switches. Try to count the number of switches you
activated in your head so you don't miss any...like me...

-----------------------------------+
=THE COMPUTER IN MANGROVE FOREST= |
-----------------------------------+

The second task you need to complete to open the third dungeon is in Mangrove
Forest. Ride the...boat I guess, back to Mangrove Forest. Walk forward until
you see the split in the road. Turn right to find a pair of small turrets.
Destroy them and you'll see a computer with a red screen. Activate it and it'll
say something about...something. Anyway, ride the boat back to GekoGeko Land.
Yeah, all those switches, just for the computer.

---------------------------------+
=RETURN TO GEKOGEKO LAND AGAIN= |
---------------------------------+

From the boat, head back toward the beginning. Continue on to the right of the
screen. You should see a bunch of ledges leading higher up. Go up to find a
couple of Otamamon, a treasure chest, and a Security Gate. Follow the path
further down to find an entrance in the wall. It leads to Vein, the third
dungeon of the Venom Jungle. Vein houses the final ID Key to unlock the last
area of Venom Jungle.

Yes another dungeon that you'll have to slog through on your own. Then again,
if you can read this much then you can surely beat a simple dungeon right? Find
the map first, make your way through and eventually you'll come upon the boss
of Vein.

VEIN BOSS:
DIABOROMON

Diaboromon is incredibly easy if you have powerful weapons and you are about
level 35+ (75+) [???]. Just stay close to Diaboromon and wail on him endlessly
for an easy win. If you are hurt badly, run away and heal then move back in to
resume beating on him. After you win this incredibly easy battle, pick up the
final ID Key.

Is the battle over? Good. Pick up the ID Key, open the four chests, and exit
via the teleporter.

=RETURN TO MANGROVE FOREST= |
-----------------------------+

Well, I can't really give you directions to the next area because even I have
trouble finding it sometimes. Anyway, I can tell you to head left. Keep going
as far left as you can, passing many Otamamon and Gekomon. Eventually you
should see a small staircase leading up. Take them and you'll run into a pair
of guns (I think?) and a Gekomon. The Gekomon is harmless and you can speak to
it. He blocks your path at first, when you speak to him you'll automatically
show him your three ID Keys and he'll let you pass. Continue past him to enter
the Venom Swamp.

--------------------+
=VENOM SWAMP= [4VS]|

***Note: Most of the Venom Swamp is surrounded by a thick poisonous gas. You'll
notice it soon after you walk into the Venom Swamp area. Equip the Filter Board
to avoid dying within the poison. It will let your Digimon breathe the poison
and the Filter Board will convert the poison into fresh air (I guess).

Once again, the Venom Swamp is quite large. I simply head as far left as I can
possibly go. Eventually I end up at the end. You should do the same also.
Many MarineDevimon populate the Venom Swamp's poisonous areas. You can either
fight or avoid them. It's up to you. Eventually, you'll see the entrance that
leads to the Dread Note. (Why not call it the Dreadnaught or something?)

--------------------+
=DREAD NOTE= [4DN] |
--------------------+
Recommended Levels: 34 - 35 (75 - 77) [?? - ??]
Enemies: MiniScorpiomon, Stingraymon, MANY DEFENSE TURRETS

I don't know why its called the 'Dread Note.' Anyway...walk forward and look
for the next ledge that runs left to right. There will be two poisonous flowers
on it (like the ones in GekoGeko Land and Mangrove Forest). Either wait for an
opening to jump up and attack them, or stand at a distance and hit it with an
MP Technique or a Shot-Type weapon. After you stun both flowers, jump on top of
the ledge with the flowers and run left. There will be another platform with
a bunch of MiniScorpiomon and Stingraymon as well as a couple of small turrets.
Eliminate all of them before moving on. Afterward, head left to find some
stairs (I guess) leading higher up. Slowly make your way up each step because
some of them will have large gun turrets on them. In a little while, you should
see a thin ring-like platform and a large round platform in the center of it.
There will be like 8 small turrets on the outer edge of the round platform and
a new laser in the very middle. This new laser fires a VERY LARGE laser beam at
you, but it is extremely slow. Either run past all of the guns, or destroy
them all. The smaller turrets can be attacked normally if your weapon has a
long reach, but the laser turret will need to be attacked by a ranged attack.
In any case, look for the next set of stairs you need to climb by running around
the ring platform. Continue climbing the stairs once you find them (there will
be quite a lot of stairs and large gun turrets). Eventually you'll reach a
Security Gate and another large laser turret guarding a platform. You need to
jump up, run to either side (the platform is very small however, so be ready to
heal if you are hit) and attack the laser turret. Be careful because sometimes
you may get hit by something else (I haven't figured out what it is that is
shooting at you) from out of nowhere. After three platforms guarded by the big
laser turrets, you'll reach one more on top of a very large platform. Destroy
the gun first, ignoring the Stingraymon that appear. Then destroy all of the
enemies to gain entry to the final dungeon in Venom Jungle. The Dread Note's
Dread Bridge...

Boss: Lucemon

By far the most ANNOYING DUNGEON EVER. There are so many stairs in this place
I wouldn't be surprised if the enemy couldn't find their way around. In any
case, there are four floors. FOUR UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING FLOORS! Was it four?
Anyway, I'll try to have a guide up in the next update since this dungeon is
probably more annoying than the final stages of the game. But you shouldn't
just sit there and wait for my step-by-step instructions, you should actually
try to beat this one on your own. If you do, then good job! You passed a very
hard dungeon without me! In any case, find the maps first, they will be
somewhat more helpful than I can be right now. Just hit ALL the switches you
see, this is all I can do for you for now. Eventually, you'll come to the end,
with moving platforms and enemies on both sides of the room. Standard "the last
boss of this zone is coming up" procedure. A little tip, don't jump across the
moving platforms until you destroy ALL the enemies on one side. That way you
won't have to spend 10 minutes just getting across the stupid moving platforms.
When all the enemies are gone, go into the teleporter and take on Lucemon, an
extremely annoying boss for an extremely annoying dungeon...HURRAY!?

DREAD BRIDGE BOSS:

LUCEMON

The object of this battle is to first destroy the strange ball that Lucemon is
carrying around. It's a little hard since he'll constantly fly away and use
Napalm Flight on you. Every once in a while he'll stop and land. This is your
only chance to attack it. He'll either use Poison Spray or just try to slash at
you. If he tries to slash at you, the only time the ball will be vulnerable is
before the attack. Afterwards, he'll just take off and fly away. You need to
destroy THREE of those spheres (balls...) before you can actually win. When
you destroy the ball, Lucemon will be vulnerable to your attacks. After you
drain a large portion of his health, he'll fly away and come back with a new
ball. However, do not despair, eventually he'll go down if you are patient...
VERY PATIENT. Here is a list of his attacks...
Attacks:
1. Napalm Flight - Lucemon will constantly be using this attack. He'll fly
over the arena, leaving a trail of marks which explode into
a huge ball of fire. Avoid the marks as Lucemon flies by.
2. Poison Spray - Lucemon will occasionally land, and spray the ground in
front of him with poison. Just get in close and avoid the
poison on the ground.
3. Ball Replacement - After you destroy the first gray ball Lucemon carries,
he will fly off to get a new one. He'll do this twice
during the fight.
4. Missile Barrage - When you destroy a ball that Lucemon is holding, he will
start walking around and launching missiles five at a
time.

When you win, watch your digimon celebrate (like it always does when you win any
boss battle) and collect your treasures. When your done use the teleporter to
head home.

Just concentrate on reaching the end. Make a map in your head as you move
through the dungeon so you can find your way back easily and quickly. Make a
note on some doors that will lead you to traps and useless fights. When you
reach the altar, place the figure there and get ready to fight a couple of
MarineDevimon. Afterwards, start running back to the entrance of the dungeon.

be blocked. Kill them as fast as you can and exit.

V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Strategy:
Get a strong weapon with a strong Digimon, and just kill the Otamamon and
Gekomon that appear. After a few waves, ShogunGekomon will appear. You need
to be quick about killing him so just move in close and keep on hitting the
attack button. If your quick and strong enough, you should be able to do this
one no problem.

Rewards:
NORMAL MODE - Nothing except you are one step closer to the final side quest.

V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

=LEGENDARY COLISEUM= [5LC]|

How to unlock:
Talk to the Digi-elf across from the Data Keeper.

NORMAL MODE - I think you need to beat the game, not sure yet.
HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Objective:
NORMAL MODE - Defeat all the Digimon and SkullGreymon.
HARD MODE - Defeat all the Digimon and SkullGreymon.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????
Strategy:
If you've beaten the game, you should be strong enough to do this side quest.
To locate the Legendary Coliseum however, is quite another matter. I've never
seen it until the end of my normal game because I didn't know where to look.
First off, make your way to Grief Wasteland. Go to the second scorpion tower
past the Ancient Ruins and the first scorpion tower. When you see scorpions
on the ledge above, walk up past the tower to find a switch. Activate it and
go back near where you entered Grief Wasteland. There should be a turn with
boxes and a new metal bridge. Walk across it to enter the Legendary Coliseum.
If however, you did not talk to the Digi-elf, you can still enter the area, you
just won't see SkullGreymon. Instead you'll find Arukenimon near the end.

Rewards:
NORMAL MODE - Nothing except your one step closer to the final side quest.
HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

---------------------+
=TRADING HALL= [5TH]|
---------------------+
How to unlock:
Talk to the Digi-elf in the Central Area. Across from the Card Keeper are two
Digi-elves. Walk past them to find two more Digi-elves. Talk to the one above.

NORMAL MODE - Trade with Prince Maememon 5 times.

HARD MODE - Trade with Prince Maememmon ? times.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Objective:
NORMAL MODE - Trade with other Digimon to get rare items.
HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Strategy:
Just make sure you don't take any of your good items with you. They'll ask for
those sometimes. Just start with the Strange Figurine. Eventually, no one will
want the items you have so you'll need to leave after a while. After you
return from the Trading Hall, talk to the Digi-elf that sent you there to get
another item. (I'm not sure if you get another item all the time because I've
only done this side quest once.)

Rewards:
NORMAL MODE - Good items sometimes, and one step closer to the final side quest.
HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

------------------+
=ITEM ROAD= [5IR]|
------------------+
How to unlock:
Talk to the Digi-elf across from the Card Keeper. There are two, but the one on
the left will say you are too inexperienced.

NORMAL MODE - Defeat Mecha Rogue X and talk to this Digi-elf.

HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Objective:
NORMAL MODE - Defeat the boss at the end while collecting treasure chests.
HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ??????????????????????

Strategy:
Item Road is located in the Machine Pit. Talk to the Digi-elf first and he'll
ask you to defeat the boss on Item Road. Return to the teleporter to the
outside world to find that nothing has changed. Go to the Machine Pit and go
to the center where you start all the other side quests. Look for another
raised platform and you should find Item Road. Try not to worry about breaking
lots of chests. Concentrate on getting to the end. I don't think the number
of treasures you find will change your rewards.

Rewards:
NORMAL MODE - Agumon will receive Hercules Kabuterimon.
Veemon will receive WereGarurumon.
Guilmon will receive WarGreymon.
Dorumon will receive Clavis Angemon.
HARD MODE - Agumon will receive Beelzemon BM.
Veemon will receive MetalGarurumon.
Guilmon will receive Alphamon.
Dorumon will receive Beelzemon BM.
V. HARD MODE - ????????????????????

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

-------------------------+
=FINAL SIDE QUEST= [5FS]|
-------------------------+
***Note: I've never actually unlocked this side quest yet. I've read elsewhere
however that you need to beat the 9 other side quests before you are able to
access this one.***
How to unlock:
Complete the other 9 sidequests then talk to the Digi-elf across from the Card
Keeper. He's on the left.

NORMAL MODE - Complete the 9 other side quests.

HARD MODE - Same as normal mode.
V. HARD MODE - ????????????????

=Boss List= [6BL]|
------------------+

The following list shows the name of the boss and their attacks. I also rated
the difficulty of the bosses. Remember, the difficulty of most bosses will
differ depending on what level you are, and what equipment you are using.

-BLOSSOMON
Appears: Humid Cave, Abyss of Grief
Difficulty: 1 / 5
Attacks:
1. Physical Attack - Blossomon will attack by stretching its' arms out at you.
Easily avoided or blocked.
2. Spin Attack - Blossomon uses this attack after being stunned. It will try
to move in close and use this move. Its a little stronger
than the Physical Attack, but just as easily blocked or simply
avoided.

-MAMMOTHMON
Appears: Cliff Dungeon, Barbaric Cave (Side Quest)
Difficulty: 1 / 5
Attacks:
1. Charge Attack - Mammothmon will start running toward your general direction.
He is invincible while running until he hits the wall and
becomes stunned.
2. Ice Spray - Only uses this attack if you are close to Mammothmon. Simply
avoid the Charge, run in and attack a couple times, then run
away to avoid this attack.
3. Wild Rage - Mammothmon will swing its trunk crazily if you are close to him.
If you stay away, you'll probably never see this attack.

-MECHA ROGUE (TYPE-3)

Appears: Goblin Fortress
Difficulty: 2 / 5
Attacks:
1. Swift Flight - Mecha Rogue (TYPE-4) also shares this attack. Mecha Rogue
will take off, and start flying around the arena, beating
you as it passes you by. Attack it if you can to stop the
attack.
2. Swift Swipe - Mecha Rogue will attack you by swiping you with one of its
hands. Block it or take the hit.
3. Dual Laser - Mecha Rogue will try to attack you with a laser if you are far
away. If you stay in close, like I did, you'll hardly see this
attack.

-APOKARIMON (DEATH VALLEY FINAL BOSS)

Appears: Doom Dome
Difficulty: 3 / 5
Attacks:
-SKULLGREYMON
Appears: Sand Labryinth, Legendary Coliseum (Side Quest)
Difficulty: 2 / 5
Attacks:
1. Homing Missile - Once in a while, SkullGreymon will fire a missile that
slightly homes in on you. Block it or just avoid it.
2. Fire Breath - He will charge up, and blast you with fire. If you get too
close while he is charging, you can be hurt by the waves that
he emits.

-SCORPIOMON
Appears: Ancient Ruins, Captive Dungeon (Side Quest)
Difficulty: 3 / 5
Attacks:
1. Thunder Blast - You can see Scorpiomon charging up electricity, and then
somehow shock you with it like a thunderbolt. If you keep
hitting him, you won't have to worry about this attack since
it takes a while to charge up.
2. Missile Attack - He'll fire a missile at you. Just block it or avoid it.
3. Fire Trail - While moving around, Scorpiomon will leave behind small flames.

-MALOMYOTISMON (DRY LAND FINAL BOSS)

Appears: Virus Lab
Difficulty: 2 / 5
Attacks:

-SHOGUNGEKOMON
Appears: Geko Path, ShogunGekomon (Side Quest), Item Road (Side Quest)
Difficulty: 2 / 5 (4 / 5 if you count annoyances as difficult)
Attacks:
1. Super Symphony Crusher - Using a super version of the Gekomon's sleep spell,
ShogunGekomon can put you to sleep no matter where
you are (unless he's against the wall and your on
the opposite end). There is no way to avoid this.
2. Tremors - When you attack ShogunGekomon and stun him, he'll drop and send
out a very large shockwave, much like Malomyotismon.

-MECHA ROGUE (TYPE-4)

Appears: Vine Tunnel, Mecha Nest (As normal Enemy)
Difficulty: 2 / 5 (4 / 5 if fighting more than 2)
Attacks:
1. Swift Flight - This is the attack you will see most often. The Mecha Rogue
will take off, and fly around the arena at high speeds and
attack you at the same time. Try to hit them as they pass
you.
2. Blast Throw - If they are on the ground and you get in close, they will try
to grab you, and blast you off your feet. Sometimes you will
automatically block the attack.
3. Double Laser - When you are far away, Mecha Rogue will try to shoot you
with two lasers from his shoulder. Move out of the way to
avoid it.

-DIABOROMON
Appears: Vein
Difficulty: 1 / 5
Attacks:
1. Physical Attack - Basically, he'll use his long arms to attack you. I've
never seen him do anything else....yet.

-LUCEMON (VENOM JUNGLE FINAL BOSS)

Appears: Dread Bridge
Difficulty: 3 / 5 (4 / 5 if your impatient)
Attacks:
4. Missile Barrage - When you destroy a ball that Lucemon is holding, he will
start walking around and launching missiles five at a
time.

-MECHA ROGUE (TYPE-5)

Appears: Mecha Nest, Elec Mine (As normal Enemy)
Difficulty: 2 / 5 (4 / 5 when fighting more)
Attacks:
1. Dark Slash - He'll use this primarily when you are close. He'll simply
slash at you sending shockwaves out. Block it, or just take
the hit and keep attacking.
2. Dark Forcefield - If you move farther away, he'll surround himself with
a forcefield of some sorts. If you move in close and
attack it, it'll simply disperse. I've never seen it
do much of anything else.

-LORDKNIGHTMON
Appears: Elec Mine
Difficulty: 3 / 5
Attacks:
1. Agile Movement - LordKnightmon is so fast, that while it flips around in the
air and moves around on the ground, you won't be able to
attack it. Wait for her to stop and then attack.
2. Poison Walk - LordKnightmon will laugh (or something) and start to move.
While she's moving (I'm assuming LordKnightmon is a 'she' by
the way its dressed and the way it laughs) poisonous clouds
will be left behind. Don't walk into them (obviously).
3. Physical Attack - LordKnightmon will attack you. Nothing new here.
-MECHA ROGUE X (FORM 1)
Appears: Black Core
Difficulty: 5 / 5
Attacks:
1. Fierce Slash - Mecha Rogue X will try to attack you with this move if you
are close. Its hard to block if you are attacking so just
keep an eye on your health.
2. Swift Flight - Just like the other Mecha Rogues, except Mecha Rogue X is
invincible while doing it, and causes an explosion where he
stops. After stopping, he'll teleport to one of the four
platforms on the side of the main arena.
3. Mecha Power Up - After teleporting to the side platforms, Mecha Rogue X will
summon 4 other Mecha Rogues (TYPE-4 I think) to the arena.
When this happens, a strange device will appear and shine
a purple light. You have to stop as many of the Mecha
Rogues (TYPE-4) from reaching the light. If they do reach
it, they will transform to a Mecha Rogue X (FORM 1) type
body.
4. Body Snatch - If you destroy the REAL Mecha Rogue X (the blue one) before
you destroy all of the gray Mecha Rogue X's (the transformed
TYPE-4 Mecha Rogues) then the real Mecha Rogue X will take
over the body of another one. Before you destroy the Blue
Mecha Rogue X, take out ALL of the gray ones first.
5. Dark Wave - When Mecha Rogue X teleports to one of the outer platforms, he'll
attack from a distance with a wave of dark energy. Keep moving
to avoid it.

-MECHA ROGUE X (FORM 2)

Appears: Black Core
Difficulty: 5 / 5
Attacks:
1. Poison Wave - From the center of the arena, where Mecha Rogue X (FORM 2) is
now sitting, rings of poison will start to sweep over the
arena. Can be avoided by standing at the very edge of the
arena.
2. Paralyzing Beam - Some sort of strange machine will fly over the arena, and
if you touch the beam it emits, you will become paralyzed
and unable to move. It is also possible to block this
attack.
3. Tornado - When you are hit by the Paralyzing Beam, two Tornadoes will appear
and attempt to fly into you. Just block it as they pass you.

-MECHA ROGUE X (FORM 3)

Appears: Black Core
Difficulty: 5 / 5
Attacks:
1. Flying Beatdown - Mecha Rogue X will hover above the ground, move in your
general direction, and then let loose with a very fast
and extremely powerful aerial attack. The only way to
avoid this is to either block it, or run to the side as
he passes by, which is pretty hard.
2. Fire Walls - Occasionally, Mecha Rogue X will send out a wall of fire that
slides across the arena. Either run all the way back from the
fire, or simply block as it passes you by. Its very slow and
easy to avoid.
3. Dark Sphere - Two spheres of dark energy will appear and dig under the arena
while you fight Mecha Rogue X. You can see the shadow they
make move across the floor. When they get close to you they
will pop up and try to hit you. Block it if you can.
4. Lightning Waves - If you are far away from Mecha Rogue X, he'll send out
waves of electricity across the ground that will randomly
turn and twist. Try to block it or avoid as they can
paralyze you.

=MOD CHIPS AND TIPS= [10M]|
---------------------------+

Mod chips are used to power up your weapon and armor units. Weapons and armor
can have anywhere from 1 - 5 Mod-able slots. The shop also sells equipment with
mods sometimes. The more mods a weapon or armor unit has, the more it will be
worth. Here is a list of all the chips that can be used to mod your weapons and
armor units.

***Note: Initially, only Alpha level chips will be available. After completing
Normal Mode, Beta level chips will become available. When you complete Hard
Mode, Gamma level chips are unlocked.***

------------------------------------------------+
Dual-Chips | Added Effects |
------------------------------------------------+
Speed Chip Boosts Speed of your Digimon |
Wisdom Chip Boosts Wisdom of your Digimon |
Spirit Chip Boosts Spirit of your Digimon |
------------------------------------------------+

-------------------------------------------------+
Armor Chips | Added Effects |
-------------------------------------------------+
Defense ROM Boosts Defense permanently |
Resist [element] Boosts element defenses |
-------------------------------------------------+
***Note: There are four different type of Resist chips. One for fire, ice,
darkness, and lightning. If you have extra space for a resist chip, use one
that will boost your lowest element defense.***

---------------------------------------------------------+
Weapon Chips | Added Effects |
---------------------------------------------------------+
Assault RAM Increases Critical Hit Rate |
Drain RAM HP recovers when damage is dealt |
Dread RAM MP recovers when damage is dealt |
PWR Medal [element] Increases Strength |
---------------------------------------------------------+
***Note: PWR Medals increase your strength as well as adds an element to your
attacks. For instance, PWR Medal [FIRE] chips will add burn the enemy when you
attack them. However, this may not always be an advantage. Case in point, the
Mummymon of Dry Land will catch fire and deal more damage if you are hit by
them while they are on fire. Remember to consider the element that you are
using. I personally like to use the Thunder element.***

=Techniques List= [11T]|
------------------------+

You can level up your MP Techs just like your regular weapon techniques. Simply
using them a lot will eventually cause your technique to rise. If you get them
high enough, they will level up. You learn your first 3 MP Techniques at
Level 1, Level 12, and Level 22. For the first four starter Digimon, their
Level 1 Tech is a Blast technique, at Level 12 they learn a Force Technique, and
at Level 22 they learn Petty Heal Lt..

If you use your MP Techniques enough, they will become stronger. Instead of
Petty Fire, you can upgrade it to Mega Fire.

***Note: Upgrading your techs from Petty will take a very long time. Especially
the Petty Fire, Ice, Dark, and Bolt techniques.***

The upgraded MP Techs will start at Petty and go all the way to (Terra?).

***Note: I am not sure if there is a Level higher than Terra. Can someone
confirm this for me?***

Petty ---> Mega ---> Giga ---> Terra ---> ?

-----------------------------------------------------------+
Blast Techniques | MP Cost | Effects |
-----------------------------------------------------------+
Petty Fire 8 Fire burns enemy |
Petty Ice 8 Ice freezes enemy |
Petty Dark 8 Darkness hurts enemy |
Petty Bolt 8 Electrifies enemy |
Petty Impact ? Powerful shockwave |

---------------------------------------------------------------+

Petty Heal Lt. 12? Heals Digimon |
Petty Aura 20? Heals self and Allies |
Petty Raise ? Raises Back up Chips |
Petty Cure Lt. 8 Cures Poison |
---------------------------------------------------------------+

--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Petty Venom ? Poisons enemies |

***Note: Higher Level MP Techniques will cost significantly more MP than their
Petty versions.***

=Glitches/Secrets= [12G]|
-------------------------+

I wouldn't call it glitches, but Bandai did make a few...typos. It kind of

annoyed me at some times though. Like when it said the Fang Smasher was
Bash, when in actuality its a Blunt weapon. So here, I listed some things that
you may or may not see (I'm playing the XBOX Version remember? So your version
may differ slightly, if at all).

Glitches (Mostly Typos):

-Prince Maememon gives you said item, but actually gives you Fang Smasher.

-Dbl Axe says its for Bash skill, but it actually requires Blunt skills.

-Rage Hammer says its for Bash skill, but it actually requires Blunt skills.
***I forgot the others that I saw, I'll put it down if I remember. Also, if you
have any other typos/glitches you'd like to report, just E-mail me. I'll check
it out and decide whether to add it. If you do E-mail me, let me know which
version of the game you are playing, whether it be XBOX, GameCube, or PS2.

Secrets:
You can also find this secret posted in the Codes & Secrets section of Digimon
World 4 on GameFAQS.

Item and Money Duplication Trick:

You need two controllers. Save your games. Then lets have player two be the
"mule" save. (The one carrying the money / items.) Give all of player one's
BITS to player two. Then save player two and end the game. Reload player
one and player two. Player one will have his money, and player two will have
player one's money + whatever money he was originally holding. Continue this
process until player two has about 10,000 BITS. Then give it all to player
one and save player one only. Now reload both games. Give player one's BITS
to player two and save player two. Continue passing the money back and forth
until you have 9,999,999 BITS. Of course this does take the challenge of
collecting money for the Junk Shop incredibly easy. You can also duplicate
items. Lets just say player one has a 5 mod Long Sword. Save player ones game.
Give the Long Sword to player two and save player two's game. Now reload both
players and you both will have Long Sword's with 5 mods. I know it's cheesy,
but if you want a headstart early on, you can utilize this method to get some
very powerful items and loads of BITS early on. Remember, Data, Key Chains, and
Booster Packs cannot be traded to other players.

=Multiplayer Tips= [14M]|
-------------------------+
-Shops will offer a larger variety of weapons/armor during a Multiplayer game.
-Multiplayer is fun only if everyone works together. If you constantly have
a troublemaker and someone who watches their teammates die, would you want to
play again?
-EXP is shared among all Digimon. However, the Digimon dealing the finishing
blow will gain the full EXP while his teammates will only receive a portion.
-Watch each others backs. Whats the point of having a teammate who won't back
you up...
-Play nice and share the wealth. That way everyone is happy.
