ECE 5700 Digital Control Systems, Take Home Exam #2

ECE 6950 Exam #2 Page 1 of 2

Exam Conditions:
This is a take home exam. Your answers must be your own work.
No collaboration with other students in this class or any other person is allowed.
Any violation (receiving any outside help from anyone) may result in an X grade for this class.
You must provide a written document describing your work and the solution and the MATLAB
code software used to generate the solutions. Provide comments in your MATLAB code to
describe what you are doing.

As a reminder:
WMU Codes, Policies, Processes and Procedures:
The WMU Graduate College Codes, Processes and Procedures and WMU College of
Engineering and Applied Sciences Honesty Code will apply in this course.
You are responsible for making yourself aware of and understanding the policies and procedures
in the Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs that pertain to Academic Honesty. These policies
include cheating, fabrication, falsification and forgery, multiple submission, plagiarism,
complicity and computer misuse. [The policies can be found at www.wmich.edu/catalog under
Academic Policies, Student Rights and Responsibilities.] If there is reason to believe you have
been involved in academic dishonesty, you will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct.
You will be given the opportunity to review the charge(s). If you believe you are not responsible,
you will have the opportunity for a hearing. You should consult with me if you are uncertain
about an issue of academic honesty prior to the submission of an assignment or test.

Exam Submission:
The written document may be submitted as a paper or electronic document. The MATLAB
software code *.m files must be submitted in electronic form, as I will execute all of your scripts.
If the *.m files do not execute, you will not receive credit for MATLAB portions of the
problems.
All exam materials must be submitted by 5:00 pm on 14 August.
You may submit your exam materials in person either to me or to the ECE Department office, or
you may submit via e-mail, or use a combination. My preference is paper copies of written
documentation and one e-mail message with an attachment of one yourname.zip file with all
your *.m MATLAB code contained in the zip file (similar to the solution web site zip files).
