RADIO OPERATION
• Place the ON-OF F-AUTO Switch (1) in the ON position.
• Frequency Bands
Set the Band Switch (13) in the AM or FM band.
• Tuning
Turn the Tuning Knob (11) to select the station in the band desired. Set the knob
in the most suitable position in order to receive clearly. For the reception of AM,
there is a bUilt-in antenna. No other antenna should be necessary under normal
reception conditions. However, reception may be improved by turning the radio
to a different direction. For the reception of FM the power cord acts as the
antenna, extend the Power Line Cord (18) to full length in order to get the best
reception.
BATTERY BACK-UP FUNCTION
• This unit has been designed with a battery back-up system which will keep
the internal timer running (without display) and prevent loss of alarm time
set when the main power is occasionally cut off.
• A difference of about three minutes per hour (approximately 5% of the
duration of the power interruption) may result between the correct time and
the time shown on the clock which appears after the power interruption.
Adjust the time indication to the correct time, if necessary.

• Insert one 9 volt transistor battery (006P) into the battery compartment.
• You are recommended to refresh the battery every 3 months in order to avoid
battery lea kage.
CLOCK OPERATION
Setting
• The 12-Hour AM/PM digital clock display of the electronic clock has a 0.6"
readout for indication of hours and minutes.
• Press both the SET BUTTON (7) and the HOUR BUTTON (5) until the
correct hour is shown.
• Press both the SET BUTTON (7) and the MINUTE BUTTON (6) until the
correct minute is shown.
Note: Before setting the actual time, run the clock through a full 24 hour cycle.
Do this by pressing both the SET BUTTON (7) and HOUR BUTTON (5).
The digital clock display has a PM dot indicator located at the upper left side
~~ of the clock readout. When setting actual time ensure that the indicator is lit
corresponding to PM time only.

HOW TO SET THE ALARM (RADIO OR BUZZER)

• Tune to radio as outlined in RADIO OPERATION.

NOTE: Your electronic clock has a special feature which allows the radio or
buzzer to play for approximately 59 minutes after switch on by auto

SLEEP TO MUSIC
• To SWITCH OFF THE RADIO after waking up, slide the AUTO/OFF/ON

switch (1) to the OF F position.

• The radio can be set to play and switch off automatically. You can vary the
playing time from 1 hour and 59 minutes to 1 minute.
• To wake up by music at the same time on the following day, return the

AUTO/OFF/ON SWITCH (1) to the AUTO position.

• Slide the AUTO/OFF/ON SWITCH (1) to auto position. Press the SLEEP
BUTTON (9) and MINUTE SET BUTTON (6) to adjust the reqUired playing

To playback a cassette tape. insert the tape into the cassette compartment. The Cassette section:
