Why Create Your 12 Month Goals (and Roadmap)?

Your 12 Month Goals (and Roadmap) is a fun exercise, and its also
possibly the most important thing you can do during Earn1k and
Beyond1k.

You are creating for yourself a precise blueprint guiding your steps
through the remainder of this quarter, and beyond.

Its connected to productivity and motivation, too. You are making
sure your work (and time and energy) are all tracking towards the
future career and life you actually want.

I talked about this extensively during VIP coaching for Earn1k if
you did this exercise at that time, go ahead and revisit or do it all
over again! You may be surprised at the updated results.

12 Month Goals (and Roadmap)

Tip 1: Do not answer "I don't know" to ANY of these. Put down
your most thoughtful guess.

Tip 2: Get specific. Lets say you're in the process of designing your
dream house.

Bad: "I want it to be big! With a garden!"

Good: "My target square-footage is 3,800. I will have an English-
style garden, with a focus on XYZ plants. The house will have 3
bedrooms, including one to accommodate guests..."

Likewise, with your 12 Month Goals, get into the small details:

Bad: "I want to be...doing something related to marketing."

Good: "I will be a high-end creative marketing consultant for
companies working in the social gaming industry."

a) What kind of client(s) are these?

b) Will it be employer(s)? What kind? (Profile them size,
revenue, industry, everything)

c) Whats your boss (or the person to whom youll be
accountable) like?


3. How much money will you be making on a monthly basis?


a) Yearly?

b) How will you use that money? Make sure this answer
reflects the predicted amount.

4. Where will you be working?


a) No, literally where? Describe the location.

b) What is it like to get there?

6. What does your Monday look like?
