Observed managerial roles as well as being shown, and provided with the chance to operate, the
test simulator used to train tube driving staff.
Provided with an insight into how both the workers and trains are managed and how the company
successfully operates

Projects: RemoPad An Android application, created for my final year project, that allows a user to control the
mouse/cursor of a laptop/pc using finger motions and touch gestures made on the screen of the mobile
device. Gestures allow the actions of left, right and double clicks as well as scrolling up and down.

Multi-threaded Chat-room/chat client J2ME This was a J2ME application that involved
logging in to a server, which would then return a list of chatrooms. It was then possible to
enter and leave multiple chat-rooms and communicate with multiple users on the server.

Multi-threaded Air-conditioning controller using C This project involved creating an application that
controlled an air-conditioning simulator written in C. The application contained 3 different modes Auto,
Manual and a fault detection/report mode.

Other projects include
Air-conditioning controller using a PLC and ladder logic
War and Mayhem Java game.
Using a PIC microcontroller with C to measure input over time and present it to a graphical LCD
display.
