We pray for our next Pastor

Almighty God, great shepherd of Your holy church:

We thank You and praise You

that You are preparing our next pastors heart to receive the call from our church,
that our next pastor has a passion for and a desire to teach Your Word
that our next pastor has a vision for our church coupled with love for You
that You are preparing our next pastor to shepherd our church through both the trials and blessings we will face
that our next pastor will have wisdom to help the congregation to grow spiritually and be led closer to You
for wisdom for the search committee to select the right person to be our pastor
for grace to welcome our next pastor in Christian fellowship and love
that this ministry will become fruitful and growing according to Your will
for all that is accomplished, for You do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or think through the Holy
Spirit in the matchless Name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. (Eph. 3:20)

AMEN

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads
everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. 2 Cor 2:14

TODAY, Bert Glenn will ride in a fund-raising bike ride for Zones of
Peace, one of the ministries that our Social Ministry Committee supports. If
you would like to support Zones of Peace through this ride, you can make a
donation via the Internet until 6/22/14.

PARSONAGE IS RENTED and now we need to do a cleanout!
Next Sunday, June 15, wear grubby clothes to worship and stay for the garage
and basement cleanout. An hour or so should do it!

Social Ministry Committee will meet on Sunday, June 29 around 11:30 a.m.
