irst need to partially reeEe the coconut "ilk. Fust until slushie.
The coconut "ilk $ill be used instead o the $ater in usual recipes. Thereore%
you need to "ake sure it is cold enough because the sugars in the "ilk $ill
scorch since the te"perature $ill raise to o#er 1?0 degrees once you add the
sodiu" hydro'ide. 1ou $ill end up $ith a bro$n% unappealing soap.
Follo$ the *Hot Soap Making :The 2o"plete Duide+ to "ake the soap% $ith the
acception o the ollo$ing inor"ationH
I The soap $ill not co"e to trace% you need to "i' it or < "inutes% "i' it
$ell. Put it in your soap pot that is set in the hot $ater. ,ter 10 "inutes o
cooking it% re"o#e the pot and "i' it again $ith the stick blender. The soap
$ill ha#e separated. Mi' it until it is once again blended.
I Put the soap back in the $ater pot and cook it or another 10 "inutes.
Take it o the sto#e and "i' it again. 3t $ill once again be seperated. Mi' it
until it is once again blended. Put it back in the $ater and cook it or
another 10 "inutes.
I Repeat this process a e$ ti"es until you check on the soap and it is no
longer separated. 2ook it or another 10 "inutes at this point. 3t is no$
