Title: Coldharbour Systems will help Seren
Group make a real difference
Coldharbour Systems, a Civica Group company, is very pleased to announce that it has
secured a 5 year contract for the supply of a 1,000 user enterprise software solution from
Seren Group in Newport.
Seren Group comprises of a number of distinct companies including, Reach, Charter
Housing, Derwen, Solas and Seren Living which provide a broad range of support,
community care, housing and related services.
Seren Group tendered for a complete replacement of incumbent supplier systems, covering
a comprehensive specification, with the key aims of a new Reach enterprise solution being:
Replace a number of incumbent systems with a single solution and avoid duplication
of data entry.
Reduce administrative burden on support workers, team managers, rota planners
and local office assistants by removing manual timesheets and returns.
Robust integration and automation to existing core systems to present a holistic
solution for the group.
Provide more accurate data specific to the Seren Group to ensure compliance and
delivery of contractual obligations.
Utilise mobile technology to enable staff to provide both improved services and to
automate charge and pay processes.
The primary solution is focussed on Reach Supported Living with group wide applications
such as compliance, reporting, shared services and records. A range of Coldharbour
applications have been purchased to achieve the requirements for the enterprise solution
including:
Community Care scheduling
Mobile applications (for both scheduling and compliance)
Income Processing
Corporate system interfaces
e-Compliance solution
Dashboards and group reporting
Coldharbour Systems has been selected to supply a single solution to address the above
areas and has been chosen as preferred supplier from the completion of a 14 month tender
and selection process which has culminated in a contract in June 2014.
Commenting on the contract, Simon Jones (Group Resources Director Seren Group) said:
As an organisation this is a major investment and we needed to ensure the chosen solution
and supplier was able to address, not only the shortfalls of our current systems, but also to
be aligned to the strategic requirements of our organisation over the next 5+ years.
Coldharbour was able to fully demonstrate a comprehensive solution set whose product and
market vision was aligned to the Seren Group.
