The influence of Mass-Media in a democratic country.

Which of the Media has the greatest impact upon the
young generation?
Mass-Media developed very rapidly in a world were comunication and
information were vital for everyone. It turned out to be a very good thing,
having the objective of helping people and making our life easier.
As an introduction, it is clear to everyone that Mass-Media had a great
influence on Romania in the !"! Revolution. Radio, press and especially
television were some of the things that kept people together, in touch and
informed them at every step. And this thing is obvious even in our days. #o now
we see what is the cone$ion between Mass-Media and democracy. %emocracy
means freedom and that&s what the romanian people obtained.
It is easy to observe that Mass-Media is not a thing, nor a fenomenon it is
a part of our life.
It was a few decades ago when television has born. It integrated very
'uick in our life and one way or another it became part of it because it is
indispensable. (elevision is the part of Mass-Media that shows it all.
)ews, reports, sporting events, music, politics, movies, live coverage of
the most important events that happen in the world, are just a few of the things
that television realy provides us.
It happens in your town, television will be there, it happens in your
country, television will be there as well as around the globe.
If you want to be informed you will have* news in brief, highlights, images,
live coverage.
If you want politics you will have* talk-shows, d-bates.
+ou&re mad about sports, (hat&s not a problem. I know you wouldn&t want
to miss an A.#. R-MA-.A/I- or an R0A. MA%RI%-1AR20.-)A. (elevision
keeps you in touch with football, tennis, wintersports. It even has (3-shows
based on this fenomenon that sports had become in our days.
+ou want a film, Action, love, horror movies or comedies every kind are
offered by television. And for the kids we have cartoons.
(his things that I&ve mentioned are just a part of what television realy
provides. It brings everything to life and e$presse whatsoever integrity in what
means life in a democratic country.
Radio it&s not as comple$ as television. Maybe the fact that puts it in the
shwadow of the television is the absence of images. 1ut the positive thing about
it is that a radio set is very easy to carry where ever you go. Radio stands for a
great way to be informed and to rela$. Radio does&nt show movies, sports but it
presents theatre plays. 1ut would you have preffered nothing.
(he radio is a great source of information especially for those who have a
car or go on a journey. Radio keeps you update with world widw news and another
one of the positive things is the live coverage of all the most important events in
the world.
)ews-papers were the first form of Mass-Media. It turned out to be a
thing that was going to see itself pass every obstacle. 4hen you&re in a hurry,
what can you do, 1uy a news-paper if you want to be informed. )ews at stake
from all the domaines, sports, (3 programme, publicity, e$tras and lots of useful
things are offered by the news-papers. Another positive thing is that news-
papers are easier to carry than radios and read the news whenever you want.
.ast but not least, the internet is the way of information that develops
every moment. It is a very modern way of getting informed.
)ews in brief, images, music ,movies, all you want you can find on the
internet and I think it&s comple$ity is willing to help peolple indifferent of his
problem. 0veryday you hear only* internet here, internet there and this thing
says it all. +ou must admit there&s something to it if everyone uses it.
(he popularity of the internet had con'ured the people, but what offers
to them is essential.
(he years that past since the Mass-Media has born made it a part of our
life.
Mass-Media stands for information, helping, guiding you thorugh out your
daily activities. It is indispensable and everyone knows it.
