E-tickets issued in other GDSs (Sabre, Galileo, etc.)
Automated paper tickets issued in Amadeus

itinerary:

The systemwill automatically determine whether to revalidate or reissue a

How Amadeus Ticket Changer Works
When a passenger decides to change his itinerary, you have six options with
Amadeus Ticket Changer after you have rebooked the itinerary. You can
request:
1. An informative pricing for the reissue (FXF).
2. A confirmed pricing (FXQ).
3. An informative pricing (FXF) followed by a confirmed pricing (FXQ).
4. A Best Pricer informative pricing (FXE).
5. A Best Pricer confirmed pricing (FXO).
6. A Best Pricer informative pricing (FXE) followed by a Best Pricer
confirmed pricing (FXO).
Amadeus Ticket Changer processes in one single transaction a mono- or
multi-passenger PNR, containing up to nine passengers and six types of
passengers, including family and companion fares. For a partial multi-
passenger reissue, each passenger must be associated to a ticket. Partial
selection of passengers is not allowed with Best Pricer transactions.
Repricing options applicable to all tickets must be indicated first in the
transaction. If several options or associations are used per passenger in a
single entry, the // separator is mandatory.
With informative pricing the systemdoes not store a reissue Transitional
Stored Ticket (TST) and no changes are made to the PNR.
With confirmed pricing the systemcreates and stores the following:
For a reissue, a reissue TST if needed
For MCOissuance: A PNRMiscellaneous Charges Order (MCO) line
and Transitional Stored Miscellaneous document (TSM) of the type M
(TSM-M) containing the penalty fee for the reissue or the revalidation.
For EMDissuance: An SVCsegment in the PNRand a TSMof the type
P (TSM-P) containing the penalty fee for the reissue or the revalidation.
For a reissue with MCOissuance: A PNRMCOline and TSM-M
containing the residual value (if any). For a reissue with EMDissuance:
An SVCsegment and a TSM-P containing the residual value (if any).
For a reissue with MCOissuance: The original exchange document in a
PNRFOelement and in the MCOsub-element for the residual value (if
any). For a reissue with EMDissuance: The original exchange document
in a PNRFOelement and in the TSM-P for the residual value (if any).
For a reissue, an Amadeus Ticket Changer reissue panel (TQR)
including the fare and tax balances, the ticket difference, the residual
value (if any), the TST additional collection (if any), the penalty fee, the
total additional collection, and the grand total, which is the ticket
difference plus the penalty fee.

Using Global Netting
Amadeus Ticket Changer Global Netting is a calculation feature that nets
values across fares, taxes and penalties to reduce the number of
miscellaneous documents issued, resulting in a single refund or a single
additional collection.
There are two levels of compensation: Netting between fares and taxes, and
Global Netting between fares, taxes and penalties.
Netting functionality uses standard repricing entries to reprice your itinerary
(FXQ, FXF, FXE, FXO).
Note: For BA and QF agents, use the following: FXQ/RVD. In the case of
a refund, this generates an FO line with the residual value amount
instead of a Residual Value TSM.
A netting reissue TST shows taxes in greater detail: old taxes (flagged O),
newtaxes (flagged X), refundable taxes (flagged Q) as well as newpaid
taxes (flagged G), and Used/Compensated taxes (flagged U).
Global Netting is airline specific. If you want to use this functionality, contact
your local account manager.
