"If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn
from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
(2 Chronicles 7: 14)

PRAY WITH YOUR CHURCH, ASSEMBLE IN PUBLIC PLACES, GATHER IN HOMES OR SECRET PLACES
[From www.globaldayofprayer.com] United by a Prayer for the World, Christians from all over the world, from
different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams on May 19, 2013 gathered in their homes, or
where appropriate, assembled in stadiums, public auditoriums and open squares and many devoted portions of
their Sunday morning Service to united prayer.
Some meetings were small. Others were large, but each one was of praying with the same vision of repentance
and hope. As at the first Pentecost, we worshiped God openly in Christs name and pray for the healing and
blessing of the nations. As much as possible, we sought to gather in places beyond the walls of our church
buildings.
On this day we are all praying WITH the world as we pray FOR the world, and that is what Grain, New Wine &
Oil Ministries did last Sunday after the morning services. The youth who were the dancers supervised by Bro.
Noni Samonte and Sis. Freni left early by 130PM to get to the Ynares Arena on Shaw Boulevard where the
Praise & Worship from San Juan and Marikina was part of the Pre-Program singing songs and being part of
the Parade of Flags and the bringing of symbolic offerings. The crowd was not as much as the Shalom Summit
when we were last at this venue but the prayers were just as powerful with like scenes happening in hundreds of
venues around the world.

The Global day of Prayer was founded by South African businessman Graham Power in 2000.

Each year, the event
spread to more African countries until it spread globally in 2005. On 2 May 2004 history was made when Christians from
all 56 nations of Africa participated in the first ever continental Day of Repentance and Prayer for Africa. Numerous
communities, villages, towns and cities united in non-denominational prayer gatherings at different venues. In South Africa
277 communities participated. A flame of prayer was burning in Africa!

At a meeting of the International Prayer Council in Malaysia in November 2004, the invitation from Africa went out to the
nations of the world to participate in a Global Day of Prayer process.

On Pentecost Sunday, 15 May 2005, Christians from 156 of the 220 nations of the world united across denominational
and cultural borders for the first Global Day of Prayer. In the months following this day, Christians were overwhelmed by
the testimonies of Gods powerful work in answer to these prayers and in the years to follow the numbers kept increasing.

In 2008 millions of Christians from 214 nations united in prayer and on 31 May 2009 a miracle happened when this
initiative miraculously expanded to 220 countries in the world. Together with the 10 Days leading up to and the 90 Days of
Blessing following the Global Day of Prayer, there was a sense that the call to unity and repentance is deepening. This lay
the foundation for God to fill the nations with His glory as His children from around the world cried out to him in unity.

23 May 2010 saw the 10-year celebration of the Global Day of Prayer. Whilst Christians from around the world united in
prayer in Cape Town, where everything started, millions from 220 nations once again gathered in their own nations. The
urgent call from Joel 2 echoed throughout the nations to return to God with repentance on a level never seen before. Yes,
this was a time of rendering our hearts to God and to see the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit on all flesh.
The growing momentum of the first 10 years laid the foundation to saturate nations in prayer. From 2011 we started to
shift our focus from 220 nations to facilitate a lifestyle of prayer with as many people in as many places as possible. In this
new season, we no longer aim at the goal of having organized events in every single country of the world, but rather to
increase the number of gatherings on Pentecost Sunday in smaller settings, such as local churches, family homes and
businesses instead of stadiums and assembly halls.

12 June 2011 and again on 27 May 2012 saw participation from many nations, cities, towns, communities, local churches
and prayer groups where believers have never had the confidence to register an event, either because they werent able
to gather in large public places because of fear of persecution, or because they dont have the resources to plan such
gatherings.

The Lord has indeed done many things through the Global Day of Prayer, and we are certain that these will continue for
many, many years to come as nations continue to observe this one day of unified prayer.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

PRAY WITH ONE VOICE
A Prayer for the World
Almighty God Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
We gather with believers all over the world,
to glorify You as Creator of heaven and earth.
You alone are holy and righteous.
We submit to Your authority.
We praise and adore You alone.

Father, we honour You
Lord Jesus Christ, we honour You
Holy Spirit, we honour You

Our Father in heaven,
Thank You for loving the world so much
that You gave Your only Son, Jesus Christ,
to die on the cross for our sins
so that we could be reconciled to You.
Fill us with your love as we faithfully intercede for
the lost,
the hopeless, the helpless and the world.

Thank You Father, for adopting us into Your
family.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You died on the cross and
redeemed us to the Father by Your blood.
You are Head of the Church
and Lord of all heaven and earth.
Let Your kingdom be established in every nation of
the world
bring transformation among peoples of all tribes
and languages
so that righteousness and justice will prevail.

May Your Name be great, from the rising of the sun
to its setting.

Jesus Christ, You are Lord of all.

Father of mercy and grace,
We have sinned.
Our world is gripped by the power of sin.
Our hearts are grieved by injustice, hatred and
violence.
We are shamed by oppression, racism and
bloodshed in our land.
We mourn all loss of life in murder, war and
terrorism.

Our homes are broken and our churches are divided
by rebellion and pride.
Our lives are polluted by selfishness, greed, idolatry
and sexual sin.

God of mercy, forgive our sins.
Pour out Your grace and heal our land.
Spirit of the living God,
Transform Your Church into the image of Jesus
Christ.
Release Your power to bring healing to the sick,
freedom to the oppressed and comfort to those who
mourn.
Fill us with compassion
for the homeless and the hungry
for orphans, widows and the elderly.
Give us wisdom and insight for our worlds
problems
to use the resources of the earth for the well-being
of all.

Holy Spirit, guide us and lead us.

Lord Jesus Christ,

You destroyed sin, conquered death and defeated
Satan.
Remove the veil of darkness that covers the
peoples.
Restrain the evil that promotes violence and death.
Deliver us from demonic oppression.
Break the hold of slavery, tyranny and disease.
Help us to tear down strongholds and ideologies
that resist the knowledge of God.

Almighty God, deliver us from evil.

King of Glory,
Come and finish Your work in our cities, our
peoples and our nations.
From all continents and islands we cry:

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Be lifted up ancient doors
so that the King of glory may come in!

Come fill the earth with the knowledge of Your
glory as the waters cover the sea.

The Spirit and the Bride say:

Amen! Come Lord Jesus!
