using ‘lines’ (Straight and Curved) and ‘surfaces’.
• Audio-visual presentations and Field trips

4. ELEMENTS OF TEXTILE: FIBER TO FABRIC:

• Textile terminology
• Classifications of different fibres,yarns and fabrics in terms of
their Performance Characteristics as relevant to the garment
industry
• Field exposure to Yarn and Fabric Processing, Finishing and
Testing Units.
