reverses. Slowly the sunset
points move southward on
the western horizon and the
length of the day decreases.
We are celebrating the high
point of the year when the
Sun is at its zenith. (It is said
that herbs gathered on this
day are powerful and on this
night elves and fairies
abound in great numbers).
This months new moon
is at 5Cancer37. Its a good
time to look at yourself in
regards to your family. Nur-
turing will be required of us.
Were inquisitive and
trying to stay logical, but
emotions need your attention.
Have a few colorful band-aids
on hand.
Guilt and intuition are
strong, especially where fi-
nances are concerned. Tempo-
rary fluctuations in income
and possessions are possible.
Draw down this moon to
attract personal protection,
using your values as the guid-
ing light of reason. A core

overall security issues. Can

hard to believe that summer is

From the New Moon to the Full Moon, the moon is increasing in
light (waxing). This is traditionally the time for beginnings or
instinctual growth. I find the new moon flavors the entire month.
The waning moon, from the Full Moon to the next New Moon, brings
a conscious time for creative release as the moon dissipates, it brings
clarification to the new moon activities. This enable us to recognize
where we are and where we need to go.
I hope you enjoy and benefit from my personal interpretations on
current planetary configurations each lunar month!

The Full Moon at 20
Capricorn activates the
long term cardinal square
again. We have been ex-
periencing this on and off
for years. Alas, I thought I
escaped unscathed, but it
simply will not fade away..
Expect to be more
temperamental as condi-
tions intensify. Your reac-
tions often surprise even
you! Your mind and body
will need to work together
this fortnight. Pay close
attention to your health and
diet. Stress can and will
cause havoc in our bodies
if we dont deal with it.
Our plates are full as
we hold our breath for
whats coming next.
Things we havent thought
of in years may come to the
surface. Clearing the clut-
ter in our subconscious
closet will only help in the
long run.
Lots of action on the
home front. Responsibili-
ties will need to be met.
Learning how to be at
home with ourselves is just as
important as creating our
haven for soul rejuvenation
and support.
Disappointments and
changes in your immediate
work environment pop up.
Expect the unexpected as
bosses get irritable. Try not to
be so nit picky. Reforms are
on the way.
Friends are helpful and a
source of pleasure. Creating
new goals or obtaining them is
on our minds and an enjoyable
process.

Planting by the Moon

Whenever possible, the Moon phases should be incorporated
along with the Moon sign in making calculations for the proper
timing of work within natures rhythm. Llewellyn suggests:
1st & 2nd Quarter Moon Plant annuals producing their yield above
the ground. In general, the 1st quarter favors the leafy kind that pro-
duce the seed outside their fruit, and the 2nd quarter is best for those
that produce the seed inside their fruit (please note exceptions apply)
3rd Quarter Moon: Plant your biennials, perennials, bulbs and root
plants. Including trees, shrubs, berries, and annuals producing yield
below the ground.
4th Quarter Moon Time for turning the soil, pulling weeds, destroy-
ing pests.
Moon in Aries
Barren and dry, fiery, and masculine. Used for destroying noxious growths, weeds, pests, etc., and for cultivating.
Moon in Taurus
Productive and moist, earthy, and feminine. Used for planting many crops, particularly potatoes and root crops, and when
hardiness is important. Also used for lettuce, cabbage, and similar leafy vegetables.
Moon in Gemini
Barren and dry, airy, and masculine. Used for destroying noxious growths, weeds and pests, and for cultivation.
Moon in Cancer
Very fruitful and moist, watery, and feminine. This is the most productive sign, used extensively for planting and irrigation.
Moon in Leo
Barren and dry, fiery, and masculine. This is the most barren sign, used only for killing weeds and for cultivation.
