Beginning from the existence of man, technology has evolved from woods to stone, from stones to metals and so on. As new means of technology rises, the ways of people also changes. The change occurs in fast pace that we cannot even remember now where everything had started. Because of hunger for knowledge and the eagerness to make things easier, people come up with technology that emerges day by day. In order to supply the people with larger amount of goods and for every work to be done in the most urgent time, the growth of technology spreads quickly. Today, computers stand as one of the greatest contributions of technology. These metal pieces with electronic circuits became an object for the rise of cyber world which comprises the Internet, the World Wide Web and interconnected workplaces. Also, computers nowadays acts as a new medium for communication, entertainment, business, education, etc. The coming of automobile has changed every street of the world and has brought upon a great advancement in transportation industry. The mobile phone has changed the means of communication in every face of it. All of these are made for the convenience of the people. The change seemed to be good to the eye but every change comes with its advantages and disadvantages. The change in technology becomes abrupt to the point that people have forgotten the traditional means of living just for them to follow the societys technological change. This craze affected every face of the worlds societies. It affects a lot the means of living, societal expectations, economy and of course, the level of employments. The technological advancements depreciate the human skills significantly. The rise of more complicated technological materials set aside the slow and inaccurate capability of humans. With this, the ability-related jobs had decreased in the course of time. And unemployment comes into the scenario until the contemporary times. The depreciating rate of unemployment is one of the evident disadvantages of technology. These changes affected the demand of workers. Today, there is a greater demand for professional jobs rather than blue collar jobs. With this, the industries will need more professionals. These will greatly affect the present occupations that comprise the skill-related works. The most affected industry would be the manufacturing where less human efforts will be needed because computers will now replace the people in that certain factory. People will now stick with the instants. Then most probably, the traditional ways of production will be set aside or worse that it may not be in the scenario. Also, the complicated inventions will also affect the third world countrys economy. Thus, there will be a possibility of undercutting of goods coming from these countries. Most of primary products came from less fortunate countries. The loss of their production also means loss of jobs and decrease in their economic growth. Because of these probable effects, people started to picture out that computers will now alter the distribution of workers between occupations. People in the skill-related jobs will be given the sufficient knowledge in order to cope with the demand of work that is needed. So, individuals can now conclude that employments will require high skills because technological familiarity will be required for a citizen to find an occupation. The emergence of technology is due to different application of knowledge. And making these new machineries a part of the norm will require the people especially workers with more awareness of it. With this, most probably only the educated ones will be given more advantage with this new intelligence. On the other hand, illiterate will have less job opportunity; people will be poorer and less on societal life improvements. The rich will gain more benefit and less fortunate will really lose their little fortune. The rise of technology contributed in the development of the worlds civilizations for the benefit of the people. Technology somewhat rules every nations societal expectation, market standardization, government and productions. But as time goes by technology becomes more intricate where the function of it is not anymore achieved. Thus, it started to overpower the human skill and underestimates the possible things that humans can actually do. After all, whether technology may or may not affect the employment dramatically for its advancements or deterioration, what is important is the knowledge of the past and present technology. Peoples education will guide the world either to its fall or betterment.
