PARK
New retail store provides AT&T mobile lifestyle options in new convenient
location

TINLEY PARK, ILL., June 30, 2014 AT&T is opening a new authorized dealer location in Tinley
Park to meet the growing needs of its customers in the area. The store will provide customers
with options for the latest devices, accessories and services, like Digital Life and U-verse from
AT&T. The new store, owned and operated by Custom Cellular, is nearly 1,100 square feet and
is located at 18219 S. Harlem, near the intersection 182
nd
street and Harlem Avenue.
Our goal is to become Americas premier retailer by providing an exceptional experience in
every interaction and that begins with having stores conveniently located for our customers,
said Shelley Goodman, vice president and general manager of AT&T Illinois & Wisconsin.
AT&T customers looking for the latest wireless applications and services, smartphones, tablets
and accessories now have another great location to find the right solution to fit their mobile
lifestyle.
In the first half of 2013, AT&T invested nearly $625 million in its wireless and wired networks in
Illinois, and continues to expand its networks in 2014. Since 2007, AT&T has invested more
capital into the U.S. economy than any other public company.

AT&T has over 70 company owned stores in Illinois and also sells its products and services in
over 70 authorized dealer locations and select national retail stores. AT&Ts current retail
expansion comes amid the companys Project Velocity IP (VIP), a multi-year plan to invest for
growth, announced in 2012. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its customers growing
desire for high-quality, fast wireless and wired services. As part of Project VIP, AT&T is
deploying small cell technology, macro cells, and Distributed Antenna Systems, which will
