I am like that, and I know it.

I start things ambitiously and I believe I will finish them, but I usually dont. I love the
fresh journal, the creases in a new pattern, the way a book looks on my shelf. But then the pieces pile up and my heart
breaks and I feel it all over again. Youre a failure. {Angie !attern"
I just wanted to sew, I think to myself.
But it wasnt the fabric I loved.
It wasnt even the finished product.
It was watching the needle and knowing that it was working all the time to mend, even as it pierced.
It looks like its dangerous, and as if its wounding. It tears through layers and even through skin. Im convinced it will
come away flawed and torn, and then I see the beauty of it all.
And the hum of the sewing machine reminds me again what it looks like to allow yourself to be wounded because you
believe in what will one day come of it all.

Ive seen enough in one day to pen volumes about what love really looks like when it bends toward another;
It loops, one lace over another, until what was once foreign feels familiar.
It intertwines heart and hand, and what seemed an impossible path simply becomes the only way.
It weaves our very lives, and what was separate is more beautiful whole.
It blurs the line between grace and glory, and it lives only to bring life.
Jisk is relative when the hours are this shortG
