Thank you for registering StarStrider v2!

I. Registering procedure:

1) Save this whole email to a text file, e.g. 'starcode.txt'.

You should treat this file as a confidential 'value paper'
and not allow anyone else access to it.

2) Store that file on a floppy disk - *this is important* - you

would never believe many people manage to lose their key due to hard disk crashes
or by reformatting their harddisk. But if you loose your key then its gone and
that's it. We can
not guarantee you a new one.

3) If you haven't already done so, visit our www site, download and install the
latest version of StarStrider (your code wont work with the earlier v1.0 or v1.5).
Then start it!

4) In the first dialog, click on 'Enter your registration code'.

5) Locate the '.txt' file, select it and click 'Open'.

A dialog should now pop up saying "Thank you for registering
this program!". That's it!

III. Would you like to name a star?

As a 'for the fun of it' thing we invite our registered users make up an
*unofficial* name for a star and share it with other users. As you are now a
registered user, you are welcome to submit a name to us at
support@starstrider.com. Please include the proposed star name and it's Hipparcos
catalogue number (the 'HIP' number on the left of the screen when you select a
star) in your email to us.
Also please respect the following:

- Only one name per user, please! - Only previously unnamed stars are eligible for
naming. - Stars that are part of a 'constellation node' is not accepted. - It'd be
more fun if you choose a star that is not too close to Sol. - Be creative and use
your imagination to come up with a good name! - We reserve the right to refuse any
name that we feel unappropriate or that could offend some one of sensitive mind...
- Submissions are not anonymous; we reserve the right to publish the names of all
the people who has submitted a star name to us.
