PERFORMANCE

Victaulic H D PE products are designed to m echanically join H D PE (*high density polyethylene/
polybutylene conform ing to A STM D -2447, D -3000, D -3035 or F-714) pipe of w all thicknesses from SD R
32.5 to 7.3. Victaulic H D PE products have integral row s of gripping teeth in each side of the housing
w hich bite into H D PE pipe around the entire circum ference. This elim inates special heat fusion, solvent
joining or special adapters. The toothed gripping ends of Victaulic H D PE products are not intended for
use on PVC pipe or other m aterials. Victaulic lubricant should not be used w ith H D PE pipe.
H D PE pipe brands w e have tested indicate that the w orking pressure of Victaulic H D PE products are
dictated by the w orking pressure of the pipe. The pipe m anufacturers listing is dependent upon w all
thicknesses, pipe com position and tem perature. Pipe tolerances show n in the charts are *at + 70F
(+ 21C ) and for rigid pipe w ith SD R of 20 or low er.
