Job Post Name: Assistant Director (Health, Education, Environment and Livelihood)

Scope of Position:
The Assistant Director is primarily responsible for establishing and expanding relationships with donors and secure
funding from private and public sources. He/She will supervise a team of program managers and develop various
developmental projects with respect to engagement with donor agencies (multilateral, bilateral, CSRs). The Assistant
Director will identify, develop and plan various opportunities for organizations (NGOs, CBOs, Trusts etc.) with respect
to program implementation, management and mobilization of resources and will ensure a wide approach in mobilizing
funds for long term programs that are effectively met.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for donor contact establishment, network building with donors, identifying opportunities,
compilation and updating donor map on regular basis, donor submission and ensuring follow up from time to
time.
Responsible for allocation of projects to the Program Manager, editing proposals and ensure timely delivery of
the same for approval.
Ideate and secure new funds from diverse sources, including individuals, businesses, Government and private
foundations
Assess and evaluate suitable opportunities that will lead to partnerships and long term engagement with multi -
stakeholders.
Provide leadership expertise in providing efficient, focused & innovative strategies so as to achieve the
organizations strategy, growth and profit objectives.
Engage stakeholders in advocacy to advance innovative collaborations and partnerships.
Able to create consortiums involving both private and public players ie PPP approach
Continuous update of sectoral knowledge by conducting refresher training session, reading professional
publications, maintaining coordination with other teams & participating in organization's academic activities.
Also imparting the same knowledge to the team members.
Participate in conference/workshop/seminar & submit report on the same.
Providing and arranging training session to new incumbent in the team.
Suggest innovative ideas/formats and concepts while developing proposals.
Undertake field visits as and when required.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Development sector professional with experience of 3-4 years in the concerned sector
Considerable exposure to program management in community based development programs that include
implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation.
Proven experience in program management, implementation, survey work and monitoring processes.
Experienced of liasoning with donors
Experienced in writing innovative proposals
Possess quality presentation skills.
Willingness to travel
Articulate in Hindi and English (both spoken & written) & possess sharp& meticulous thought process
Prior experience of networking and Liasoning with donors
Led intervention projects and managed team/s
IT enabled, competent in MS office and internet
A demonstrable track record of meeting fundraising targets from trusts, foundations and statutory
donors.
Job Location: Delhi

Salary: Between INR 7,20,000 to INR 7,80,000/- per annum
