Procedures for Computer Cart (IPads)
1. The cart will be stored in 204 and 308.
2. The cart should be signed out on attached sheet.
3. Get the key to the cart from Amy iracle and Toni !i"illo.
4. The cart needs to be locked at all times when you are not in the room.
#. The cart needs to be $lugged into an electrical outlet.
%. All la$to$s and &'ads need to be on the cart (&'ads).
*&en mo+in' t&e cart to anot&er location, follo, t&ese steps for (Laptops):
1. *n$lug the cart+s cord from the electrical outlet.
2. *n$lug the cart+s blue network cable from the network access ,ack.
3. -ecure the cords.
4. o.e the cart to the desired location carefully. "ess .ibration the better.
#. /nce at the new location0 $lug the cart+s cord into an electrical outlet.
%. 'lug in the cart+s blue network cable into the network access ,ack.
1. At the end of your class return the cart to 30#A or 10# as you found it and return the key to -ue 2at3
desk or 2athy 4raig.

Laptop 1se:
Preparation:
1. The teacher should be res$onsible for un$lugging the com$uters one at a time and setting them u$ in the
designated area in the classroom.
2. /nce com$uters are $assed out0 student o$ens each one and $resses the $ower button (do not hold it in).
3. The blue home screen should come u$ and the com$uter is ready for student use.
4. &f the last $erson to use the com$uter mistakenly shut down the com$uter0 the student setting u$
com$uters should enter the username5 roxboro and no pass,ord $ress enter.
#. &f the &nternet is not working0 double check the right hand side button is slid o.er to wireless. 6ou
should see 4 green bars on the lower right hand side of the com$uter screen if the wireless is functioning
$ro$erly.
%. The battery life should last about 2 &ours if they were fully charged.
After 1se:
1. After student use0 instruct students to close out of all $rograms.
7/n each com$uter0 go to start8shut down 2 C344"E "31 !4*50 close com$uter. The teac&er
should collect them one by one and $lug the charging cord into each com$uter.
