Hyundai and Kia models, including Sportage, Forte, Soul, Avante.

Our China engine plant serves as yet another example of the recent globalization efforts of HYUNDAI WIA.
Having manufactured commercial vehicle engines at our Poseung plant in Korea since 2005, we
completed our first overseas engine plant in Rizhao City in Shandong in 2007. Our very first product was
the Alpha II engine. The Rizhao plant serves both Hyundai and Kia assembly plants in China. A portion
of the output is exported to Hyundai and Kia plants in Russia and India. Operations have grown at such
a fast rate that we recently established a second factory for producing the new Gamma gasoline engine
for application on the Kia Lotze, Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage.

Our China machine tools plant opened in June 2008. The plant is located near Zhangjiagang, China and
produces 13 different types of machine tools including eight types of tables, two types of VMC, and three
types of tapping machining centers. Further expansion is planned to enlarge to product scope to include
middle and large machines. To ensure the success of HYUNDAI WIA's machine tool business in the
highly competitive Chinese market, we maintain sales offices around the country including Beijing,
Shanghai, and Guangzhou as well as Sichuan, Qingdao, and Wuhan.

Established as a continuation of our global marketing strategy, the China casting business of HYUNDAI
WIA aims to provides stable supply of cast products to local and overseas customers.
We pride ourselves on having the best manufacturing technology and the best quality. This begins by
having the most advanced facilities : The 1st and 2nd casting plants were onstructed in 2004 and 2007,
respectively.
We offer key chassis parts (steering parts, brake discs), engine parts (crankshafts, exhaust pipes), and
transmission parts (cases). Our quality and price competitivess have attracated the interest of customers
worldwide.
Components and materials
Area () - 14,000 Production Capacity - 60,000/year Products - Engine blocks, crank shafts, knuckles/carriers, discs, exhaust manifolds
Based on our advanced processing facilities and highly skilled manpower, our molding operations in
Rizhao City, China are beginning to attract worldwide interest. The plant is already serving Beijing
Hyundai and Dongfeng Yueda Kia.

From raw material inspection to manufacturing and shipping, all

Network
HYUNDAI WIA Corp. headquarters are located in Gaeumjung-dong of Changwon,
Gyeongnam. Various products including machine tools, industrial and Defense
machines, aviation parts, and iron products are produced at this location. Some
1,100 staff are employed on the site which covers 15,200

Principal products - Transmissions for commercial vehicles,
transmission sub-assemblies
Changwon Plant 2, standing on 75,000 sq.m. site,
manufactures automotive transmissions, and includes a
special yard to support the assembly of large structures
required by industrial machines. About 300 staff are
employed on-site and they produce 0.6 million
transmissions a year.
Changwon plant 3 in Gyeongnam Changwon produces
auto parts including constant velocity joints and steering
parts. The site covers nearly 100,000 square meters and
employes approximately 300 staffs. The annual production
capacity for constant velocity joints reaches 4.1 million units
and for steering units, 0.15 million.

HYUNDAI WIA leads the development of the Korean
machinery industry by manufacturing high-tech product
which fully meet our customers' requirements.
Chassis modules
- Gwangju Plant
Gwangju Plant was established to supply automotive
parts to the nearby automotive assembly plant. It
employes about 250 workers who supply chassis
modules.
This state-of-the-art module plant is capable of
manufacturing 500,000 units a year.

Specialized production of engine
- Pyeongtaek Plant
Pyeongtaek plant located in the national industrial park in
the Pyeongtaek area produces world-class automotive
engines. From this solid foundation, HYUNDAI WIA Corp.
is embarking on an ambitious program to offer a
comprehesi ve l i neup of automoti ve parts and
components.

- Ansan plant 2
Ansan plant 2 located in Ansan, Gyeonggi consists of
production plant of chassis module for vehicle and tire
assembly plant, Banwol plant that is able to produce
about 0.4 million productivity per year has had hard
works on day and night for the products of low costs
and high quality by 200 staffs.

HYUNDAI WIA Seosan plant produces vehicle modules
and small car engines.

Since 2000, HYUNDAI WIA's machine tools business has
ranked first in market share in Korea. Following the
merger with the machine tool department of Hyundai
Motor and the completion of the the second plant, our
capabilities extend to engine manufacturing facilities.

Ansan plant 1 in Ansan, Gyeonggi consists of a chassis
module plant and a tire assembly plant. Operating on
dual shifts, the plant is capable of building 0.4 million
