COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. Introduction of fundamental skills necessary for participation in team, dual, and individual sports.
2. Development of auxiliary or additional skills necessary for participation in team, dual and individual
sports.
3. Written and practical knowledge of te rules, strategies, and analysis of skills are needed to
understand te sport.

COURSE CONTENT
$e class meets every day for twelve weeks. $is course includes team sports %i.e. soccer, touc
foot&all, wiffle &all, kick&all, cra& soccer, volley&all, soft&all, &asket&all, and floor ockey', individual
sports %i.e. aero&ics, tennis, &owling, and pysical fitness', and rytmic %i.e. fundamentals of movement of
dance'.
GUIDELINES
1. ( pysical education student is expected to &e dressed appropriately and ready to participate eac
day of class
2. Dress includes) atletic *laced soes, socks, sorts, and sirt. If we are outside in cold weater,
sweatsirts and sweat pants are accepta&le. +adies wit long air will ave a air tie.
3. If a student is una&le to participate in pysical education class, tey sould &ring a note from ome
to excuse tem.
!. ( doctor,s note is re#uired after a day of non-participation.
.. $e student must also ave a doctor release to &e readmitted to continue participation.
/. 0our percent %!1' will &e deducted from te grade eac time te student is not dresses for te class
activity of te day. 0irst time will &e a ver&al warning. 2econd time student will &e assigned
Detention
3. $e teacer in carge will andle classroom discipline. 2tudents disrupting te class or wo sow a
lack of respect for teacers, fellow students, and4or scool property will first &e ver&ally disciplined.
2econd offense tey may &e removed from te class activity and assigned a detention. $ird offense
tey may &e sent to te principal.
8. 5orseplay, running, and snapping of towels will not &e permitted. Horseplay will not be tolerated.
Student(s) engaging in such acts will be referred to the principal. Any student who
witnesses horseplay or any inappropriate act should communicate with the teacher
immediately.

Each student will be evaluated daily on a 20-point scale:
