MC2 Interactive developed custom business solutions and Web marketing programs. Responsible for account and
project leadership for Fortune 500 and ‘Big brand’ companies in B-to-C, B-to-B and eCommerce. Introduced strategic
development processes, project management protocol, business development programs. Gained extensive
knowledge of Web design and multi-tier applications. Clients include Time Inc. New Media, Inktomi, Haworth, Inc.,
Camelot Music, Ashland Chemical, American Electric Power, Honda of America Manufacturing, Lane Bryant, Ross
Pediatric Nutrition (Welcome Addition), Sofa Express, Thompson’s Products, Elmer’s brand adhesives.
Business development for Fitch’s brand communications, product development, interactive and market strategy
offers. Responsibilities include prospecting, sales presentations, scoping engagements and proposal writing.
Developed industry expertise in consumer electronics, computers, software and information technology; medical
devices; consumer packaged goods. Helped build Fitch’s interactive offer, including work in hardware and software
user interfaces, eCommerce, multimedia and Web services, international business development efforts. Worked
closely with industrial, graphic and information designers, researchers and strategists, human factors specialists,
software developers and mechanical engineers. Traveled extensively for business and trade events.
SBC is a large regional advertising agency focused on clients with strong retail channels. Responsibilities included
client liaison and guardian of the brand for $17 million Frigidaire brand major appliance account. Helped develop
strategy and manage tactical execution of national communications systems, including print and broadcast
advertising, consumer and dealer sales literature, point-of-purchase and merchandising, promotions, public relations
and direct marketing. Managed up to 60 open projects at a time. Worked with key national accounts to develop
customized advertising and promotional programs. Selected for agency’s new business team.
The Campus Press is an award-winning student-laboratory newspaper owned and published by the School of
Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Colorado. Recruited to manage sales, marketing,
operations, production and distribution. Full P&L responsibility. Increased sales by 50% over two years and regained
market share in a highly competitive environment. Set single issue and yearly sales records. Trained and managed
new sales and production staffs of 60 students every semester for twice-weekly 11,000 distribution paper. Taught
advertising strategy and principles of selling class to advertising majors, who then performed as the newspaper’s
sales staff. Set and met professional standards for production quality of newspaper. Launched new paper format and
design. Developed and implemented new business management systems. Implemented first fully digital production
collegiate newspaper in the country. Established, maintained and enhanced relationships with multiple university
constituencies and business entities.
