advertising, consumer and dealer sales literature, point-of-purchase and merchandising, promotions, public relations
and direct marketing. Managed up to 60 open projects at a time. Worked with key national accounts to develop
customized advertising and promotional programs. Selected for agency’s new business team.

The Campus Press is an award-winning student-laboratory newspaper owned and published by the School of
Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Colorado. Recruited to manage sales, marketing,
operations, production and distribution. Full P&L responsibility. Increased sales by 50% over two years and regained
market share in a highly competitive environment. Set single issue and yearly sales records. Trained and managed
new sales and production staffs of 60 students every semester for twice-weekly 11,000 distribution paper. Taught
advertising strategy and principles of selling class to advertising majors, who then performed as the newspaper’s
sales staff. Set and met professional standards for production quality of newspaper. Launched new paper format and
design. Developed and implemented new business management systems. Implemented first fully digital production
collegiate newspaper in the country. Established, maintained and enhanced relationships with multiple university
constituencies and business entities.

Workshop was a 15-person graphic design, advertising and public relations firm. Developed strategy, directed
