3.2 MANHOLES

(lacing sla! and (lace reinforcing steel1 inserts for ca!le rack1 (ulling irons1 drain1 duct outlets1
duct run do8els !efore casting 8alls. Make "anhole to duct connection as indicated.
.3 Pro0ide 115 "" dee( 8indo8 to facilitate ca!le !ends in 8all at each duct connection. 2er"inate
ducts in !ell-end fitting flush 8ith 8indo8 face. Pro0ide four 1M steel do8els at each duct run
connection to anchor duct run. Dn runs of 16 ducts and o0er1 su((ort concrete duct encase"ent on
a 7 "" 8ide !- 75 "" thick concrete (ier (oured against "anhole 8all !et8een sla! and
!otto" of duct run1 (ro0ide do8els for anchoring.

such duct runs. Construct "arkers and install flush 8ith grade.
