This paper will discuss the organizational structure of the facility that I work at and how it affects the everyday delivery of care. The chain of command at my facility supports client-centered care because it supplies us each with a role that we are supposed to fulfill when taking care of our patients.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND CULTURE PAPER 2
Organizational Structure and Culture Paper All hospitals and facilities have a structure in which helps them keep order and function. Every facility has adopted their own method or organizational that meets the needs and goals of the facility. Organizational structure aids in the delivery of client centered care, utilization of technology, problem solving methods, communication methods, decision-making abilities and how structure and culture can influence care. This paper will discuss the organizational structure of the facility that I work at and how it affects the everyday delivery of care. The organizational structure that my facility uses is still the classical theory. The classical theory has managers that manage and has an authority system that is followed (Hardin, Lucas, North and Prewitt, n.d.). There is a hierarchy at my facility and they each hold a different amount of power and authority depending on what their title is. The chain of command goes as follows Chief executive officer (CEO), assistant CEO, director of nursing (DN), program coordinator (PC), supervisors, charge nurse, nurse, and certified mental health techs (MHTs). Each person in this chain of command has roles and responsibilities. For example the MHTs should report any problems or concerns observed on the unit to the charge nurse and the charge nurse is responsible for solving the problem and for reporting to the supervisors. If the problem requires further evaluation the supervisors must then report it to the program coordinator and the chain of command continues until it is resolved at the highest level possible. The organizational structure at my facility supports client-centered care because it supplies us each with a role that we are supposed to fulfill when taking care of our patients. On my unit we have a treatment team that consists of the patients doctor, psychiatrist, charge nurse, lead MHT, social worker, counselor and a certified addiction counselor. During treatment team we each have a role that we must contribute and document during the patients treatment planning. Each patient meets for treatment planning three times a week. Our program supervisors, program coordinators and director of nursing review these treatment plans each week and evaluate the work and care that is being delivered to each patient. We also are aware to the chain of command and who to report to therefore when there are any concerns we know who to go to in the event that we cant resolve it ourselves.
