Description The length of the amount fields that are used in SAP’s standard ERP product does not fit the
requirements of large international banks, which deal with financial instruments where large
amounts occur (e.g. principal amounts of swaps), and with “weak” currencies.
Customers have to split their original postings into several postings before transferring them to
the SAP application to avoid this limitation.
The goal of this project is to extend the amount fields within a part of ERP to a length that can
receive all postings of the customers.
This is done based on requirements of the customer JP Morgan Chase (JPMC).

Specific responsibilities

• Participated in Joint Specifications analysis from JPMC and AFLE Tool Design and development.

• Responsible for understanding Client requirements and have authored the design documents for various
modules and have provided alternate design ideas for a few.

• Responsible for all the deliverables on time for modules like Internal Interfaces, Max Values, Type F, and Write
statements. This includes AFLE Tool development, Enhancements to the entire SAP FI, Module Integration

Description Staffing or Resource allocation to various projects across SAP was done with the help of a few
Excel sheets. This process was very tedious and had a lot of disadvantages like Lack of an
integrated system, No version control, No integrity checks, Data inconsistency, No
authentication and authorization, Time consuming process, No proper reporting, Was not
feasible to add new functionalities and it was not suitable for forecasting and planning due to
the increasing head count.
The goal of this project was to build a system to overcoming all the above mentioned
disadvantages and to assist and cater to the needs of Operations managers, Development
managers, project managers and to most of the people in the top management.
This was done based on the requirements from SAP and a few self derived requirements.

• Was fully responsible for the end to end design of the entire software with inputs and requirements from
various managers at SAP Labs India.

existing system was analysed and the data and the format of the files to be fed into Intellect as
source for migration were finalised. Intellect Core Data Migration comprises of migration of
Customer Base, Customer Demographic Information, Customer Account Relationship, NCCA
account balances, NCCA account transaction history, Time Deposits, Standing Instructions for
Time Deposits.
Data is migrated from the existing production system to Intellect using Data Migrator tool. The
tool is built using Pro*C, UNIX (Shell Programs), SQL, PLSQL and SQL Loader Utility.
