EVACUATION SYSTEMS
Our commitment to safety is unmatched in the industry
COMMITTED TO PASSENGER SAFETY
With over forty years of experience designing, developing and
manufacturing inflatable products, Goodrich Interiors Evacuation
Systems is a world leader in the production of aircraft evacuation slides.
Our customers know that our excellent reputation is based upon
our commitment to safety, innovation and service that is unmatched
in the aerospace market. We have raised the bar in the industry for
cost-effectiveness, quality, reliability and safety. We are known for our
Aircraft on Ground (AOG) servicefast, worldwide turnaround on
parts and service which facilitates your operational efficiency and
helps get your aircraft back in the air where it belongs.
In addition to Evacuation Systems dedication to keeping your aircraft
flying, we have made many advances in lightweight materials and escape
slide components that have become industry standards. Evacuation
Systems was the first company to use lightweight urethane-coated fabrics
designed to meet performance and stowage requirements for the Boeing
747 Stretched Upper Deck. Since then, we have taken that existing
technology to the next level by designing and developing all 16 evacuation
slides on board the Airbus A380 which is the largest commercial aircraft
in existence today.
Other advanced evacuation slide technologies include carbon composite
cylinders, composite aspirators and pressure relief valves which are
examples of Evacuation Systems extensive research and development
efforts. We are working continuously to help our customers and make
improvements to our products. The aerospace industry constantly
challenges manufacturers to improve performance, lower costs, simplify
routine maintenance and reduce weight and volume whenever possible.
We strive to meet and exceed these challenges. Evacuation Systems
Consolidated Test Facility (CTS) accommodates testing of aircraft
evacuation slides which are on board many airlines today and come
in various shapes and sizes.
