P. This product may be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin.
This product can kill bees and other insect pollinators. Do not use Actara in nurseries,
greenhouses, plant propagation houses, or on any plants grown for use as transplants. Do not
apply Actara to crops grown from seed treated with thiamethoxam.
Q. Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, tightly closed and away from food or feed products.
Pesticide Disposal: Triple-rinse empty container, puncture and duly in wasteland away from
water sources.
R. Harmful if absorbed through skin, swallowed, or inhaled. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid
contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Avoid breathing dust or spray mist. Wash thoroughly with
soap and water after handling, and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or
using the toilet. Remove and wash clothing before reuse.
Applicators and other handlers must wear:
Long-sleeved shirt and long pants
Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material
Shoes plus socks
Follow manufacturers instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions exist for
washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
S. Symptoms of Acute Exposure: Irritating to eyes and skin.
T. IF POISONING IS SUSPECTED, immediately contact the doctor or nearest hospital. Have the
product container, label or Material Safety Data Sheet with you when calling Syngenta, a poison
control center or doctor, or going for treatment. Tell the person contacted the complete
product name, and the type and amount of exposure.
EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with clean water, holding eyelids apart for a minimum of 15 - 20
minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call
Syngenta, a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Obtain medical attention
immediately if irritation persists.
SKIN CONTACT: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin, hair and fingernails
thoroughly with soap and water. Flush skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call
Syngenta, a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
INHALATION: Move victim to fresh air. If not breathing, calL an ambulance, then give artificial
respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call Syngenta, a poison control centre or
doctor for treatment advice.
INGESTION: If swallowed, immediately contact Syngenta, a poison control centre, doctor or
nearest hospital for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not
give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting unless directed by a
physician or a poison control center.
U. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: There is no specific antidote if Actara is ingested. Induce emesis
or lavage stomach. Treat symptomatically

products. Wash hands before and after work,. Wash protective clothing thoroughly before re-
use.
S. Symptoms of Acute Exposure: convulsion and respiratory arrest may occur

U. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Atropine should be given immediately 1-4mg intramuscularly, 2mg
at 30 min. interval. Patient must be kept fully atropinized. Alternatively, Pralidoxime(PAM/P2S)
may be given, by intramuscular or intervenous injection over 5-10min. Oxygen and artificial
respiration may be necessary. No sedatives should be given.
