FACULTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


Introduction and Objectives of the Project

This is a very useful software for any educational institution. In this software, all the
details about the faculties can be found in one place. This software can be used to manage all the
details about the faculty in one place. Faculty details can be added, edited, and deleted. Any
faculty can be searched based on a wide variety of search options. The derails about their salary
can also be managed here. The attendance details are also managed here & reports can be
generated based on their attendance.
Modules:
1) User Authentication and Registration
There are two users, the admin and the staff. The staffs register with a registration code given
at the time of joining. The admin adds this code to the database in the add new staff option.
2) User Management
The users are managed in this module. In this section the users can be edited, updated and
deleted. Only the admin is allowed to do this. Users can view and update their details.
3) Attendance
The user attendance details are collected here.
4) Report Generation
This modules helps in the report generation using the details in the attendance module.

A major element in building a system is the selection of compatible software
since the software in the market is upgraded every now and then. Selected software
should be acceptable by the firm and one users as well as it should be feasible for the
system.

2. HARDWARE SPECIFICATION
The section of hardware configuration is an important task related to the software
development. Insufficient Random Access Memory may affect the speed and efficiency
of the entire system. The processor should be powerful to handle the entire operations.
The hard disk should have sufficient capacity to store the file and applications.

The project entitled FACULTY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a software that
helps in managing all the employees details in an educational institute.
