Lesson Summary
In this lesson, the main focus is on the listening and speaking skill. For the set
induction, the teacher shows duck face has a different emotions or feelings. Teacher
asks the students what they can see in the picture. In pre listening, the teacher reads
a story; The Ugly Duckling" to the students. Teacher will pause and asks Wh-
questions to the students. In while listening, teacher gives the instruction to the
students first before distributing the worksheets. In the worksheet given, students
requiring listening and numbering the correct story sequence. In post listening,
students will sing a song; "If you're Happy." Before ending the lesson, the teacher
recaps the lesson.

Set Induction
(3 minutes)
1) Teacher shows pictures of different emotions
to the students.
2) The picture shows different duck emotions. For
example, sad, happy, angry.
3) Teacher asks the students what emotions or
feelings that they can see?
Teacher: "This duck is.?"
"Show me your sad face."

Pre-listening
(15 minutes)
1) By using a power point, teacher shows a story;"The
Grey Duckling" to students.
2) Teacher introduces the title of the story.
3) Teacher reads the story while students listen.
4) While reading, teacher will ask Wh-questions;

5) Students respond to the teacher.

While-

(25 minutes)

1) Teacher will distribute worksheets to the
students.
2) Before distributing the worksheets to the
students, teacher gives the instruction first.
Teacher:"I will read and you will listen
carefully. After that, tick the correct

3) In the worksheet, students require to numbering
the story while listening to the teacher.
