GOVERNMENT RELATIONS SENIOR HEAD
(Crude Palm Oil - Jakarta)
Responsibilities :
Develop value & business aligned external relations strategy, tactical
implementation plans, policies & procedures in land matters and in securing
operational permits
Centrally coordinate the effort for securing complete operational permit and land
usage licenses and their extensions
Manage land and permit risk assessments, develop risk mitigation action plan and
follow through
Maintain effective government relations at various levels. Personally maintain
effective relationships at central and provincial and estate levels
Manage issues and dispute in line with companys basic values and corporate
governance
Assess and select external consultants/vendors whose service are to be used in
external relations
Drive Program implementation through various external and internal related
parties
Establish and nurture effective relationship with key stakeholder to
facilitate effective lobbying and influencing at various levels
Internally communicate external relations policies and procedures
regularly to gain collaboration & support and proactively avoid
unnecessary conflicts or incompliance
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with related
government bodies and officials, media representatives and
communities-direct and non direct through NGOs, industry
associations, or other community-based organizations/agencies.
Formulate and implement regulatory policies and procedures to ensure regulatory
compliance is maintained and enhanced
Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations governing the

Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations governing the
industry and the business
Ensure satisfactory quality and timely regulatory submissions to
relevant parties
Qualification :
1. Male / Female
2. Bachelor or Master Degree from reputable university
3. Has gained considerable experience Government Relation 7 years,
minimum 5 years in Managerial capacity at Palm oil or forestry company
4. Good Knowledge and understanding of the regulations within the
Indonesian CPO, Sago Industry and forestry, and general corporate
regulations
5. Good skill in developing and nurturing effective working relationship with
government, related communities, NGO and other agencies and media
6. Has ability to mitigate and manage conflict resolutions in areas of conflict with
public
7. Has the ability to work collaboratively with various internal function at various
level
8. Has ability to develop a strategic plan and realistic tactical implementation plans
9. Has ability to lead, guide, train and coach team members and indirect
internal/external parties
10. Has ability to bring results while building organizational infrastructure and team
11. Good skill in media communication
12. Fluent in English is a MUST
13. Must show strong implementation skills
14. Must be willing to travel extensively to various business unit locations
