TCRA ICT SCHOLARSHIP 2014-2015
The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) is currently inviting
highly qualifed graduate and undergraduate students to apply for its 20!"# $CT
scholarships% The scholarship o&ers Tanzania students the opportunity to o'tain
degrees in the $nformation and Communication Technologies ($CT) and related
areas% The (cholarship )ill 'e a)arded on the 'asis of academic merit and intervie)
to 'e conducted 'y the (cholarship *anel%
The (cholarship covers all university direct cost (tuition fees etc) and all student
direct cost (meal+ accommodation+ 'oo, and stationary allo)ance+ feld practical
training+ special faculty requirement etc) for duration of the course+ provided that
they o'tain good academic performance% The scholarship amount has 'een set
'ased on average cost of fees and other costs for the students in pu'lic universities%
(tudent may enquire scholarship amount for specifc items from the Authority%

% The applicant must have completed Advanced Certifcate of (econdary
-ducation -.amination in the year 20!%
2% The applicant must 'e admitted or intending to 'e admitted in any $CT
related degree programs in an accredited $nstitution of /igher 0earning in
Tanzania in the 20!"# academic year%
1% The applicant must have o'tained division one in the Advanced Certifcate
of (econdary -ducation -.amination (AC(--) or equivalent%
(b) Ma%t"# St$!"t%:

% /ave an honours upper second or higher undergraduate degree from

recognized 2niversity%
2% The applicant must 'e admitted or intending to 'e admitted in any $CT
related degree programs in an accredited $nstitution of /igher 0earning in
Tanzania in 20!"# academic year%

recognized 2niversity%
2% 3asters degree or an equivalent 3asters degree from a recognized
university%
