Feasibility Update – Members of the Feasibility Committee are coming to Bauder on

December 9th at 6:30 PM to gather input from the Bauder community regarding the
possibility of Early Childhood programming to move into our building. We are asking
our community to be a part of this process – please plan on coming!

Boundary Committee – The district’s Boundary Committee is reconvening now that

the grade level reconfiguration has been complete. The community representative is
Tricia Kob (PTO president) who has been our rep in the past. She and I will be
members of the steering committee which will make recommendations to the general
Boundary Committee. The process begins in December and will continue on into the
second semester. We will update you regularly.

Winter Program – Mrs. Franklin and her Encore team have been working tirelessly to
create an Encore Extravaganza at Rocky Mountain High School TONIGHT beginning at
6 PM (music program begins at 7 PM). The program will feature art, music, PE, and
our gifted and talented program. 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will present, but we invite all
of the Bauder community to attend. This is our first time using Rocky’s facilities to
accommodate our large audiences and we are excited about the possibilities!

Upcoming Events – The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us! Students will be out of
school beginning Wednesday, Nov. 25 and will return on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Monday,
November 30th is a collaboration day for elementary and middle schools. At Bauder
we will be doing some training on a new progress monitoring tool called Exceed, and
will continue our work on essential learnings and grade level expectations.

Check In Reminder – As a safety precaution we want to remind all of our visitors to

check in to the school when you arrive. Please fill out a name badge and sign in at the
volunteer desk outside of the office. This also applies for those coming at lunch. I
know it is out of the way for those coming up the south path, but even outside we
need to see adults with name badges.

Recognition – We had two outstanding educators nominated by the staff to receive

Rotary’s Teacher of the Month. Congratulations to both Cindy Roller and Deanna
Franklin. This year’s teacher representing Bauder will be Deanna Franklin. Please
congratulate her when you see her! She will be honored in March.
