Last week whilst I was watching Al Jazeera coverage on the current Israeli war on Gaza, I came across a piece

of news that struck me as odd.

Hamas (a Muslim militia fraction of the Palestinian resistance, also notorious for terrorism in the U.S.s and
western worlds media) has announced that it will target Tel Aviv with its missiles at exactly 9 PM that night....
People who were regularly watching the news last week, you will know exactly what I am talking about, and
please comment to confirm if you have also heard this.

And so they did, Tel Aviv was targeted that night at exactly 9 PM.

I honestly remember thinking to myself that moment, saying WHY ON EARTH would Hamas share that piece of
information with its most dangerous enemy, who at that time had already killed over 400 Palestinian civilians
within Gaza? It just sounded as an insane statement and rather a ridiculous one.

Of course I should have known better...

Now I touch upon this taboo subject, which most of us avoid so as not to be judged...
As a Muslim kid, I remember being taught the following sayings of the Islamic prophet Muhammad (the first
person on Harts list: The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History):

Set off in the name of god, with god, and follow the lead of the Messenger of god (Prophet Muhammad) and
do not to kill an elderly, an infant, a child or a woman. Do not exceed the proper bounds. Gather your goods,
make peace and do good as god loves those who do well.
Every Muslim kid has surely heard enough of this report of the teaching
This was the Prophets message to his military leaders who were setting forth in the way of resistance to stop
hostile advances and defend Muslim territories
Yes, that was his exact message
Today, I connected things. Al Jazeera has been reporting today on the morality of the war in Gaza. Whilst
Israeli Defence Forces have been targeting medical facilities, schools and houses (do your own research or ask
for the sources of this), Hamas leaders were making sure throughout this war to announce the direction of
their fired missiles, so as to avoid civilian casualties. (again do your research if in doubt)
I now ask everybody who is reading this, since when did Islam become the religion of terrorism? And why do
we condone that prevailing notion? I am a Muslim who was raised in a Muslim country and I was never ever
taught by our religion teachers, leaders, communities, parents or organizations that we should hurt a soul, an
animals or a humans.
I am most aware of the ugly image that many people have formed on Islam because of many reasons. Many
legit reasons, I would say. A group of Muslim terrorists however is equivalent to a group of Jew terrorists
or Christian terrorists or atheist terrorists, and all do and did exist throughout history. Why the Muslim
terrorist groups are those who are repeatedly highlighted and who the media discusses over and over and
over yes, when you commit acts of terror in the name of your god, religion is officially a motive, but is it
really? That is another question, and another note for another time
Back to Gaza, where my thought is now,
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) which "deserves a Nobel Peace Prize (http://www.timesofisrael.com/dermer-
idf-deserves-nobel-peace-prize-for-unimaginable-restraint/), has already killed 850 Palestinians since the 8th
July 2014. 850 too many. Over 95% of those killed are civilians, including too many INNOCENT women and
children.
Hamas the Palestinian resistance aka "the Muslim terrorists", and my new heroes, have killed 35 Israelis,
94%of which (33 people) are IDF soldiers who have entered the land of Gaza armed and in tanks, and 2
civilians, who as far as Hamas says were not directly targeted (and I believe that).
These statistics are entirely accurate, and I take full responsibility for their accuracy (I have posted a previous
count when death toll was at 370 and made a list naming the dead Palestinians See my timeline photos from
22 July or ask for the list! Showed that 98% of the deeds were civilians).
I also challenge any one to find out differently, and actually urge people to do their own research

I write tonight on why Hamas are still avoiding targeting Israeli civilians. Believe it or not; it turns out that it is a
practice that has to do with the world's most hated and feared religion which Hamas believes in and embraces:
Islam.
A nice Israeli man asked me a few days ago if I was pro-Hamas saying that I dont sound/seem like I was but
he needed to know just for context. I answered that I was pro-freedom and pro-rights
Tonight I understand and believe that pro-freedom and pro-rights is currently pro-Hamas.
A resistance militia defending its sieged 1.8 million people in the Gaza strip, who albeit the deaths of their kids,
families and friends in front of their eyes and on their land, still keep a clean humanitarian record, and dont
kill an elderly, an infant, a child or a woman
My heart now belongs to the resistance
Israel claims to use surgical precision weapons, yet kills babies, medics and press in #GazaUnderAttack.

The Palestinians use tunnels? So did my heroes the poorly armed fighters of the Warsaw Ghetto.
