Camprofle Gaskets
Teadit Camprofle gaskets have the following characteristics:
Operating pressure up to 5,000 psi (250 bar).
Maximum temperature up to 850 F (455
0
C).
Wide range of service.
Less susceptible to fange imperfections than conventional fat
metal gaskets. The thin Flexible Graphite or Expanded PTFE core flls
up the fange irregularities and prevents the serrated fnish from
damaging the fanges.
Introduction
Teadit Camprofle gaskets ofer outstanding fexibility
and recovery, assuring seal integrity under pressure and
temperature fuctuations, fange rotation, bolt stress re-
laxation and creep.
Teadit Camprofle gaskets are used by the chemical and
petrochemical industry, as well as in power stations and
refneries, on both standard pipework and special applica-
tions, e.g. shell and tube heat exchangers, etc. Camprofle
gaskets are constructed from a precision serrated metallic
core with soft facing materials - fexible graphite or ex-
panded PTFE - bonded to either side.
Depending on the kind of metal used, TEADIT Camprofle
gaskets can be used for all media from pH 0 to 14.
Designed to be used in most male/
female and tongue and groove
fanges in heat exchangers.
