Man as an intelligent being is elevated above YHVH’s creation because of the fact that man

can communicate with words. He is not like the rest of creation, making different sounds and
noises, but communicate through words and speech, but this caused man’s downfall. It is one
of YHVH’s greatest gifts to man, but it is also the most lethal weapon; the tongue. We are
created with the ability to speak for the soul purpose of praising and worshipping YHVH I
believe, but we use it as a weapon against our brothers. Your lips bear the fruit that
distinguish you from others and is the evidence to show whether you are righteous or whether
you are wicked and we should be careful how we use our words so that our mouths do not
cause our destruction.

attack someone with and slander is like arrows
that people shoot at the innocent from a
distance. We know this is true, and commonly found
among women, they fight and attack each other with
their mouths. Men are physical and will sort the issue
with a fist fight, but woman are sensitive beings and get
the best blows in using words that hurt, stabbing each other emotionally.

Physical wounds heal quickly but emotional wounds leave scars that can last a lifetime. Satan
knows this and this is why he urge people to use their tongues against each other. Satan
used his tongue to deceive the woman and she used her tongue to convince her husband to
sin. The tongue caused the fall of man and is the vehicle Satan uses to spread his venom
among people that will destroy then in the end. The tongue is the most used and most
powerful effective weapon, and it was discovered by Satan in the beginning and first used and
tested in the Garden of Eden.

The tongue of the wicked exposes their motives, which are destruction of people and
relationships, but the tongue of the righteous wants to unify in love. Your tongue should not
be used to fight but rather to communicate and sort out the issues that caused tension.

lander is when you speak evil of someone else to ruin his or her reputation. It can be
seen in the same category as murder, you kill someone if you kill his or her reputation
through slander. Once his or her reputation is destroyed, people will avoid that person
and no one will want have anything to do with that person. He or she is then dead to that
group or society. If that person is pushed out and labelled, it is as if that person has leprosy,
where a leper was normally casted outside the city to die. The Hebrew word for “to speak” is
the word “davar” and it also means plague. Leprosy is a plague and is first found in Scripture
where Miriam, Moses’ sister spoke evil words against him. She got leprosy because of the
words she spoke and she was separated from her people. We learn from this that the slander
victim gets treated like a leper, but the person who spreads the slander receives spiritual
leprosy.

When you slander, you cause your victim to be treated like a leper and people avoid that
person, but the reality is, that if you slander someone, you will get spiritual leprosy and will rot
spiritually on the inside and you will kill your relationship with YHVH. You will eventually also
be casted outside the community and labelled as someone who is to be avoided. Do not be
like these people and do not lower the standard YHVH gave us and use slander to defend or
attack someone who slanders you. You will be the victim of your own words and will cause
your spiritual destruction. We are all guilty of this one because we are human and we act
though our hurts – repent and ask forgiveness and ask YHVH to place a guard before our
mouthes so that we will not learn the ways of the wicked and use it on them or each other.

ies are very common and found among most people, even among believers. What is
a lie? A lie is when you twist the truth just a little bit or tell something that is totally
the opposite. We think in our minds that you get little lies and big lies – this is not
true, all lies are lies from the same source, Satan. Wether it is a little white lie or a big lie, it is
from the father of lies and it is wrong. YHVH’s character is based upon truth and a lie is
directly in conflict with Him and should not be found among His people.

 hen we say we are His children and we want to become like Him, we need to
speak the truth and stop being dishonest. When do you feel the urge to lie? It is
when you are doing something in secret and you tell a lie to cover it up. YHVH’s
Word is known to be the light that exposes everything as it is and it is like switching on the
light in a dark room and you will see everything that is in that room, nothing will be hidden and
you will not trip over something and hurt your self. Lies are taking away the ability to see
things as they are and cause false perceptions that will result in problems and pain.

We see in Pro 26 that a lie also comes from hatred towards someone and if you dislike a
person, you talk badly of that person, using manufactured lies based upon your perception
and how you “see” that person. A wise man once said; “you do not see things as they
are, you see things as you are”. If you have something against someone else, you will
see only the ad in that person, but if you love someone, that love will cover a multitude
of sins. Lies and slander goes hand in hand and slander is made up with lies. YHVH is love
and He taught us to forgive one another because He forgave us. If you love your brother, and
even your enemy, you will not spread lies and slander that person, but you will have “room”
for their mistakes and the things they do against you. Everybody react out from the hurts
within and they can only give what they have received.

How do I stop lying? The truth will set you free. If you have told a lie and confronted, agree to
your mistake and rectify it and ask for forgiveness. If you do not do this, you will end up with a
new set of lies to cover your mistake. The truth is the best remedy and will destroy lies is your
life. We all have lied before, ask YHVH to forgive you and to help you not to lie again. Repent
and learn to be like Him, not telling lies, but only speak the truth.

ride is the root of all evil, I believe, because it was pride that cause Satan to be cast
out of YHVH’s Kingdom. When you brag about yourself or about the things you have
or your abilities, you take away that function from other people. Other should
acknowledge when you do great or when you mean something to someone, not yourself.
People elevate themselves because the feel inferior on the inside. People who are confidant
and content with who they are, never speak flattery words about themselves. If you brag
about things, it advertises in big red letters that you have idols in your life. If you brag about
your car or gadget or whatever, you are elevating your self with, it causes people to think
more highly of you than they should. YHVH teaches us to be humble and not to elevate our
selves and we should never think higher of themselves than others. We should serve one
another, but if you think you are better some one else, you will never serve that person.
Y’shua came to serve and he washed His Disciple’s feet to prove that and in the end He
served with His life. Bragging is selfish and we should rather praise others and serve them in
humility. Stop focusing on your self and start acknowledging others around you and motivate
them with a kind word and a motive of love.

e are set apart people and our words reflect

our hearts. We should not look or sound like
the world but we should look and sound like
our Master Y’shua. Unclean words are words that are used
by people in the world and most people use it out of
frustration or anger and then it becomes a habit. The
problem is the anger and frustration because that proves
that you do not trust YHVH. When you have difficulties and you trust Him for an answer or
outcome, you will be patient and calm until he helps you. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit and
frustration is a fruit of Satan. We should be like Isaiah and acknowledge that we have unclean
lips, not speaking the words of YHVH but speaking the words of man. [Isa 6:5]. We must ask
YHVH to guard our lips and help us not be inpatient and help us to break the habit of worldly
words so that our words may be sanctified and we be seat apart even in our speech.

If you are a negative person, you will attract negativity to you because a negative action
prompts a negative response. If your outlook on life is through negative lenses, you will not
see the good in everybody and will be a contact point for Satan to work through within a
friendship or group. Negativity is not a fruit of the Spirit but it exists because of a lack of faith
and confidence in YHVH. If you believe and trust YHVH in everything, you will have hope and
will have a positive outlook on life. Negativity and moaning about everything is a big flashing
light to tell you and your loved ones that you have a problem trusting YHVH. To moan and to
be negative is sin because it states in the Word that everything that is not out of faith is
sin. [Rom 14:23]. We should take our thoughts captive and think only on YHVH’s things and
all that is good.

% f someone confronts you and fight with you, you know that that
person is your enemy. But when people greet you with a smile
but despise you in their hearts, they do wrong. If someone tells you they are your
friend, but their intention is to keep you as close as possible as their enemy, run! Two-
facedness is one of the most difficult things to handle because you do not want to make
enemies in life, but friends.

 hey appear to be your friend, so you allow them closer and closer, but before you
know it, they have stabbed you to death with their tongues in your absence.
Do not be like this and do not react back with the same tactics. It is wrong and
rather avoid such people not to be entrapped by their craftiness. We are all weak and tend
to react with the same weapon against such people. Repent and do not do this
anymore!!! Tow-facedness is as bad as slander and lies, but it is disguised and mixed with
and smile so that you will not know where you stand with such people. The best is to avoid
such people and spend time with people you trust. These things are very complicated to
resolve and it is better not to get entangled in such issues because it will only lead to
emotional hurts and destruction of relationships.

If you have a problem with someone, go face him or her and sort it out. Bring the issue into
the light and keep your side clean with a motive of reconciliation and love. If there is no
repentance or act of reconciliation from both parties, the friendship will die an ugly death with
knives sticking out the backs of the victims. Forgive and move on. Y’shua came to bring
restoration between Himself and us and He wants us to be the same; live in love and unity
with each other. If there is an itch in the fellowship, scratch it immediately and do not let time
take the advantage of the situation to let it rot away into false assumptions and perceptions.
Repent and don’t be two-faced, deal with issues immediately, forgive and try to restore unity
as far as possible.

our words are like silver, a precious metal, if used wisely, and to keep it that way,
you should think seven times before you speak one word to make sure that you will
only speak the words and wisdom of YHVH. You will be judged by every evil word
you have uttered.

This is one of the instructions that are casually broken, not thinking that it will have an effect
on our salvation. Idle words are words that we have looked at in the previous section; lies,
slander, complaining, unclean words est. The tongue is the smallest of all your members, but
can set a wild fire alight.

he tongue is to be refined seven times; this is

done with a flame as when refining silver. If you
do not let your tongue be refined by the fire of
the Spirit, where YHVH helps you to control your tongue,
your tongue will be refined later in the tormenting flame.
Rather let the Spirit help you to do it than the tormenting
flame of judgement.
