BLANKET:
Work 19 squares in Big Delight colour no 11, and 7 squares in Big Delight in each of the colour 05, 06 and
10 = 40 squares in total.
CROCHET SQUARE:
Work 4 ch on hook size 7 mm with Big Delight and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Then work as shown
in diagram A.1, i.e. work as follows:
ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 12 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 12 dc.
ROUND 2: 4 ch (= 1 dtr), work 1 dtr in same st, * 2 ch, 2 DTR TOG see explanation above, in next dc *,
repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 4th ch from beg of round = 12 dtr-groups with 2
ch between each.
ROUND 3: 1 sl st in first ch-space, 3 ch (= 1 tr), 2 tr tog in same ch-space (i.e. work 1 tr but wait with last
pull through, work next tr but now pull last YO through all 3 sts on hook), * 3 ch, 3 TR TOG see
explanation above, in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in

ASSEMBLY:
Place the squares with 5 squares in width and 8 rows in height - see picture for placement.
Sew the squares tog with Big Merino - sew the squares tog with 1 stitch in approx. every other st, make
sure that the edge is nice and even.
CROCHET EDGE:
Work a finishing edge around the entire blanket on hook size 7 mm with Big Merino as follows:
ROUND 1: 1 dc in first st, * 2 ch, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* around the entire blanket -
NOTE: In ch-space in every corner on blanket work 2 ch-spaces. Finish round with 1 sl st in first dc from
beg of round.
ROUND 2: 5 ch, 1 tr in 4th ch from hook, skip 1 ch-space, 1 dc in next ch-space, * 4 ch, 1 tr in 4th ch from
hook (= 1 picot), skip 1 ch-space, 1 dc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* around the entire blanket
NOTE: Make sure that there is one picot in every corner on blanket.
Fasten off.
