Q: Once you said that the word 'tell' shouldn't
be used without an object, but in Oxford
Dictionary the following meaning is given
for the word 'honest' on the page no. 746.
Honest = always tell the truth and never
stealing or cheating - Explain.
A: 'Tell' should be followed
by an object (you, me, etc)
if it is followed by a 'that'
clause. But we can say
'tell' without an object
only in the following case:
