Description
The PWM9is a universalm easuring
device forchecking and adjusting
increm entallinearand angularencoders
from H EID EN H AIN .The values can be read
on an LCD m onitor.Softkeys provide ease
ofoperation.
The PW M 9 can be connected in series
betw een the encoderand the subsequent
electronics.Because the controlloop is not
interrupted,itis also possible to conduct
measurementsduringrunning
operations. The features are divided
betw een the PW T m ode and PW M m ode.
In the PWTmode, the graphic bardisplay
facilitates quantitative and qualitative
evaluation ofthe analog increm entalsignals
and the reference signal.The integrated
adjustm entaid forexposed linearencoders
speeds the scanning-head m ounting
process.
In the PWMmode, the usercan m easure
quantities such as on-offratios,phase
angle,and am plitudes ofcurrentand
voltage.H e can also configure the settings
ofthe PW M -9.Foradjusting forthe various
encodersignals,H EID EN H AIN offers a
variety ofexpansion m odules (interface
boards)thatare easily exchanged from
outside the housing.
