Alchemist's quest promises to take you on a brain

rooted in scientific knowledge with a dash of common
sense and what's more?! Several brain twisters and
bamboozling riddles, perform your best and win the
jackpot!
Petrified! Get your bags packed with wit, aptitude,
practicality and logic to win the quest!
Rules:
-Number of participants per team: 2
-First 12 teams (First come, first serve basis) will be in
preliminary round that consists of round 1.
-In case of a tie breaker, teams will be judged on the
basis of how well they can answer the judges questions
based on the formulation which they have prepared.
-5 teams will go forward in final round (Round 2) after
completing the first round.
-Whichever teams attains the highest marks wins the
competition

-The given amount should be increased in a given
amount of time.
-Participants cannot carry any additional money other
than what is given to them.
-Money cannot be earned by unfair means like gambling,
begging and selling pre made things.
-Participants cannot venture beyond certain area limit.
-Participants who are willing to use any means of travel,
the travel expenses must be paid from the amount given
to them.

This is a national level event which will help you to
portray your views and imaginations within a restricted
space and unbind your creative side. All you have to do is
prepare a poster that effectively showcases new ideas,

-Poster to be drawn and submitted a day before judging
date.

Fake it to make it:
Does your imagination runs faster than the speed of
light? Your mind can take culture to a whole new
dimension? Let your ideas run wild as they explore the
realm of tall tales, "fake it to make it," and create a
decorative yarn of storytelling. It is not just to tell a story
but to construct a tale.
Rules:
-Number of member per team: 3
-The topic will be given on the spot.

Controvolting:
Its the power of words to influence ideas, to uncover a
higher truth, to change minds, and, for a lot of people
even to change lives. If you think you can be the voice of
young India. We present to you Controvolting an event
which will help you showcase the critical thinker,
effective communicator, and ethical citizen in you.
Rules:
-Each team must comprise of 2 members.
-The proposition starts the debate while the opposition
raises the first point in the refutation round.
- One speaker of the team makes the opening speech
while the other makes the closing speech.
- Participants cannot comment on the opposite teams
stance or statements made in previous debates of the
competition.
-Negative marking for exceeding time. The last minute of
Refutation Round at any stage of the competition is
reserved for The Concluding Statement. It is a short
concise and precise statement that sums up a teams
argument.
-No new points may be introduced in the closing speech.
Participants will be judged on the following criteria: 1)
Contents 2) Use of quotations. 3) Body language, diction
and vocal delivery. 4) Logical illustration and analysis. 5)
Discipline maintained during the refutation round.

The impromptu speech is to be of two (2) minutes

Performing Arts Events :
Footloose:
Dance with your soul,

participate in FOOTLOSE! The ultimate dance battle!
What are you waiting for? Put your best foot forward

Rules:
-The dance performance should be a group dance
consisting of 8 to 12 participants.
-One person cannot participate in more than one
group.
-Participants will be provided with a music system by
the organizers but the track must be submitted well in
advance.
-This competition consists of 2 rounds i.e. the
preliminary audition and the final stage performance.
-The preliminary auditions will be any song, theme
and style of the participants choice.
-The final round will be based on a story given to the
participating groups which is to be enacted in the form
of a dance performance.
-The music track for the final round must not contain
any lyrics. (It is to be an instrumental music piece on
which the participants will enact their story through
dance)
-The time period of the performance should not
exceed 5 minutes.

-Props and theme for the act will be announced one
week in advance.

Drama is life with the dull parts left out. Depiction of
life, stories and feelings in its most basic form, Drama,
never fails to enthrall the audience. Ridiculousness, with
its various parodies, not only brings out the best from an
artiste, but also, raises the bar of their innovation.

-Participants: 5-7 per team
-Performance time will be 5-6 minutes.
-The clip of a movie/serial will be shown before hand and
the participants shall dramatize a parody of the same.

-Song shall be either in Hindi/English.
