Selecting the right control range
All controllers from Building Automation and HVAC
Products are graded according to their range of func-
tions, input/ output configuration and application range.
Based upon the functionality required, you simply
select the required controller and field devices and cre-
ate your HVAC scheme.
All devices can be used with a wide range of compatible
sensors, valves, actuators and peripheral devices from
the complete Building Automation and HVAC Products
ranges.
What is a Standard Controller?
The standard control range comprises easy-to-configure
HVAC controllers with preset functionality or precon-
figured application types.
With a standard controller, the user is guided through
the necessary configuration and parameter settings. Set-
ting options include DIPswitches, digital displays, hand-
held service tools or simple graphics, each according to
the controller selected.
What is a System Controller?
The programmable devices from the Building Automa-
tion Division can be tailored to suit specific applications
and building types.
With a programmable system controller, the devices are
usually configured and set to work by SBT engineers or
trained installers. The enduser usually has access to the
necessary settings, information and data via customized
displays and detailed color graphics.
