Project Summary: Architectural Testing, Inc. was contracted by Chelsea Building Products to perform testing on two Series/Model 700/900, PVC fixed windows. The samples tested successfully met the performance requirements for the following ratings: Test Specimen #1: FW-C35 1829 x 1829 (72 x 72); Test Specimen #2: FW-C50 1422 x 1422* (56 x 56*). This report is a reissue of the original Report No. 89656.01-501-47. This report is reissued in the name of Ideal Window Manufacturing through written authorization of Chelsea Building Products. Test specimen description and results are reported herein. The samples were provided by the client.
Test Specification: The test specimens were evaluated in accordance with AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-05, Standard/Specification for Windows, Doors, and Unit Skylights.

Glazing Type: The unit was glazed with nominal 7/8" thick sealed insulating glass fabricated from two sheets of 3/16" thick clear annealed glass separated by a "U" shaped steel spacer system, single sealed.

Finish: All PVC finish was white.
Frame Construction: The extruded PVC frame was of mitered and welded corner construction.
Weatherstripping: No weatherstripping was utilized.
Glazing Details: The glass was set from the interior against a double-sided adhesive tape and secured with rigid vinyl glazing beads.

Reinforcement: No reinforcement was utilized.
Installation (Test Specimen #1): The unit was installed in a wood buck constructed from Spruce-Pine-Fir lumber construction secured through the frame with six #8 x 2" long screws, one at the top and bottom of each jamb, and two in the head at 1/3 points. The exterior perimeter was sealed with a silicone sealant. A nominal 3/16" gap was maintained at the perimeter between the frame and wood buck.
Installation (Test Specimen #2): The unit was installed in a wood buck constructed from Spruce-Pine-Fir lumber construction secured through the frame with four #8 x 2" long screws, one at the top and bottom of each jamb. The exterior perimeter was sealed with a silicone sealant. A nominal 3/16" gap was maintained at the perimeter between the frame and wood buck.
