Comment:

Ms. Hanson continues to differentiate her instruction to make the subject matter
comprehensible to students. She uses lecture, activities, illustrations, and
projects to make sure students understand the material.

Comment:

Ms. Hanson walks around the class during instruction to be available for
students to ask questions and to make sure students stay on task. She uses
progress monitoring during instruction to determine if students are progressing
toward the content goals She checks for understanding and addresses students
questions. She uses a variety of assessments and has begun to write her own
tests and study guides. She reviews the results of test for reteaching and review.

Mrs. Hanson incorporates specific strategies, teaching/instructional activities,
and experiences that address academic standards She addresses student needs
and modifies lessons for understanding. vary instructional strategies according
to purpose and lesson content Alicia encourages student creativity and motivates
all students to strive for success. Ms. Hanson communicates objectives to
students and monitors their understanding through questioning during lectures.
Ms. Hanson has a collaborative class with a special education teacher and
provides intensive support for students who lack basic skills. She designs
learning activities to meet the needs of all students. She provides an instructional
program that facilitates English language development, including reading,
writing, listening and speaking skills
